Rollerbones Art Elite 101A Competition Roller Skate Wheels (Set of 8)

Rollerbones Elites are it. Roll smoother than most wheels I’ve used. Fine line between grip and slip but I still have awhile before they are properly broken in. I’m pretty hard on most wheels and drag my wheels to slow down, stop and doing a few tricks while skating. They are nice and hard and so far I haven’t noticed any wear or flat spots. Unlike some urethane wheels I’ve had in the past, after one night at the rink I would have to rotate my wheels from dragging my skates. These hold up quite nice. I’ll buy another set again. Perhaps a different color. The red or clear wheels look pretty sweet but can never go wrong with white wheels.

These wheels are amazing! I'm able to glide on my skates with very little effort. Yay me! 😁

I was rolling in 57mm 98a an if i had to compare them these 101a are great they have just grip an has enough slickness perfect wheels for JB,Spinning,an over all skating

I have seen a few reviews indicating that it is difficult to get bearings into these wheels. I concur, but I have a suggestion which helped me. I used a bearing tool which is normally used to extract a bearing. Mine has a rounded handle, so I was able to use it to comfortably apply pressure to the bearing. The best method for me was to place the wheel on a padded surface on the ground, insert the bearing onto the bearing tool, align the bearing with the wheel hole, and apply downward pressure to the bearing tool. A few times, I had to adjust my angle to seat the bearing correctly. This helped me to seat all bearing correctly.

I started rink skating on Rollerbones Team 98A. There were great to start with, but I needed a little more slip. These 101A wheels have a nice amount of slide - any more and I would start to lose control. I skate on coated concrete and I weigh 190 lbs. The wheels look great on my skate setup! Once star deduction because the surface of all 8 wheels is not consistent. Some are super smooth and shiny, others have more of a matte finish. I don't know how this actually affects my skating, but all 8 wheels are not exactly identical.

These are made of a tough material. They have a great balance of grip and slide.
