This foot pedal is made with quality materials and is very sturdy. Works really good for what I needed.

I used the WEN 120 V 15 amp momentary power foot switch with an electric power washer while jetting out a drain line. I was able to turn the electric power washer on and off with my foot while keeping both hands on the Jetter hose. This allow me to have better control during the jetting process. This was an excellent purchase for the price. The product appears to be well constructed and functioned as expected. I would recommend the WEN temporary power foot switch when using an electric power washer for drain line and sewer jetting since it allowed me to keep both hands on the Jetter hose. I highly recommend this product without reservation.

Works exactly as described. I use this foot switch on a "porta-band" table band saw. Easy to use and seems well built. I've used it for several months with no problems. I'd buy again if I needed another foot switch. Much of my equipment needs to be stored on a shelf, and then tabled when needed. If I had a "less portable" use, I'd probably mount the switch to a plate or board to keep it in place - as it slides around easily. Also, there is no foot cover, so it is easy to accidentally to step on it and start the equipment.

I bought this for use with my scroll saw. It's a huge plus to control the saw with a foot while keeping both hands on the piece I'm cutting. This switch is momentary contact, meaning it powers the attached device only while you're stepping on it. I didn't think I'd like that versus step-on/step-off, but almost all the comments I saw online said this is the way to go. And I have to say, this works very well for the scroll saw. After using it, I don't think I'd prefer the other option.

This is one of those "I didn't know I needed it" items for your workshop. I was exposed to foot switches when I began using a scrollsaw and decided to add one to my bandsaw. Then the router table, drill press and so on. I use a single 'floater' and plug the device I'm using in to the footswtich when I am planning to make several repeat operations. It lets me keep both hands on the workpiece and provides an extra layer of safety as well. Great build quality and works smoothly and cleanly. Highly recommend!

I got this so that i didn't constantly have to take my hand off my project while drilling multiple holes or cutting intricate shapes in wood on the bandsaw. Before, while cutting into a pattern on my bandsaw and then needing to stop and back the piece off the blade to start a new cut, I'd have to remove one had that was helping keep the piece in place a stable to reach up to turn off the saw. Now all I have to do is step on the pedal to start the saw and remove my foot to stop the saw. Never have to take my hands off the piece and take a chance on it shifting and ruining the cut. Same goes with drilling. I can plunge the drill, step off the pedal switch, let the drill come to a stop and then extract the bit from the hole when using Forstner bits or hole saw bits etc. I primarily use on the bandsaw but it's still very convenient for the drill press. The switch seems to be quite durable and has yet to give me any issues even with me stomping on it and running it over with carts and dollies. Just remember to turn off the power to your tool before walking away from it so that it doesn't unexpectantly start up when you don't want it to if you step on the pedal or set something down on it. Great product at a great price. Highly recommend for anything that you want to be able to control the power without having to constantly reach for a power switch (rotary tool, multi-tool, spindle sander, etc.)

I bought this for my small Ryobi bench grinder, which I use to sharpen mini lathe and small bench tools; it works perfectly with it. The petal is well-build and has a strong cord. I like the length of the cord so I don't have so much extra needless cord laying around. Of course, if you power plug is far away, you might need something with a longer cord. The ability to turn the grinder on and off with your foot, and having both hands free to hold my mini lathe tools, allows me to turn this bench grinder into a low speed grinder. This is the hack I thought might work and it does, at least for my purposes. My little shop has no room to spare, and I don't have the space for a variable speed, or low speed grinder. Even the smallest oneds are always bigger than single speed grinders. Plus I have build this one in and set it up with the (amazing) Peachtree replacement tool rests, and don't feel like starting over. I hold my foot on the petal for just a few seconds, then remove it, and do this off and on so the wheel never gets to the high speed of around 3000rmp. I was deciding between this foot petal or installing a dimmer switch. Since I don't use this grinder for heavy grinding, and really not that often, a dimmer switch might also be a good option, but it is not great for the motor, and can kill it over time. Not sure how turning a grinder on and off effects its longevity either, but in the end, this was only a $60 grinder. And I love the hands-free operation this foot petal allows. PS. My foot petal's label says "15 amp".

No conocía la marca y me llevé una grata sorpresa al ver que funciona perfecto y es de excelente manufactura. El metal del pedal y el plástico anti derrapa te son de muy buena calidad. Los cables incluidos son de buen calibre y con buen terminado. El desempeño del pedal es suave y uniforme.

Very well designed product. The quality of construction indicates that it should last many continuous on/off cycles. I bought it for use with a scroll saw (2 amp current draw) which will be easy for it to handle. The power cord(s) are of very good quality. In addition the foot peddle has a non slip pad on it. It is not the least expensive but the quality factor justifies the cost. If required I would buy this item again.

Excelente calidad en los materiales, pensado para uso rudo, se recomienda ampliamente. Se aclara que NO es un potenciómetro, es decir, no espere regular la intensidad de corriente, no, porque el pedal WEN solo es un interruptor de encendido que funciona como un apagador, solo enciende y apaga como cualquier apagador sencillo de pared, pero esa y solo esa es su función. Por tanto le damos un 100 de calificación, muy bien hecho, se agradece que nos envíen productos que sí funcionan y que prometen durar mucho tiempo, gracias WEN y gracias Amazon.

Life saver!!! I use this for a couple tools(not sumultaneously) ill attach my dremel for cutting, or my bench grinder for sharpening or polishing. This allows for hands free power control. Highly recommended! Will buy more for sure so I dont have to switch the tool attached to the one. Works well, small for easy storage.
