WORST Product Ever!
Got your attention? Let me start by saying I never review anything. But that stopped today. I cannot stress enough about how amazing this product is. Little background on why I’m taking it. Thanks to genetics and a stressful occupation on top of owner the company I developed high blood pressure, yay for me! My BP was 210/140 last year when I went into the dr because of my headaches. Holy crap! Can you say stroke potential. He put me on Atenolol and I felt better but not awesome, occasional dizziness fogginess but it was better than dying. I lost weight and tried to reduce stress. Fast forward to late summer 2017 and Atenolol vanishes becuase of some mysterious shortage. Cough, cough BS. So my Dr switched me to Metoprolol. Felt fine at first and within a month I had more of the listed side affects than not. Dizziness, depression, anxiety, weight gain, numbness in my r arm, cold fingers, insomnia, hair loss, back pain, bradycardia, up 3-4 Times a night to pee. Before I realized it was the medicine I went in for the anxiety and started another pill. Finally the numbness in my arm and cold fingers made desk work next to impossible. I thought it was a pinched nerve and started Occupational therapy for the numbness. Went to the chiropractor because of the back pain. $$$$$$ flying out of my wallet. I finally put two and two together discovered the answer was four. Beta Blockers are like poison, I might as well drink bleach and call it a day. I decided I was done. I tried to cut the dose in half, then every other day only to have horrible reactions. Almost passed out on the job and Just felt horrible. I did some more research and found out I needed to taper off more slowly. Over a three month period I slowly decreased my daily dose of poison. When I was down to 25 MG every other day my BP started to creep up of course and I wondered what I was going to do. Thank God I found This stuff! I tried it not knowing if it would work or not. I started taking it and decided to end Metoprolol within that same week. It’s been three weeks now and two weeks off Beta Blockers and I feel amazing! My BP is better than when is was on the medicine and almost all of my side affects are gone! Most within a few days. I’m sleeping and not getting up to pee, my anxiety is gone. Really all that’s left is my arm pain and that’s improved. Apparently beta blockers can take months to get completely out of your system, geeze that stuff sounds safe. Needless to say I’m a big big fan.

Boosted Energy and Reliable Heart Support
Boosted Energy and Reliable Heart Support I’ve been using Doctor’s Best High Absorption CoQ10 for a while now, and it’s one of those supplements that I can actually feel a difference with. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I like that they’re naturally fermented and paired with BioPerine, which supposedly helps with absorption. I’ve noticed a steady improvement in my daily energy levels, especially during workouts and long workdays where I’d normally hit a slump. Another plus is that this formula is gluten-free, which is important in my household, and it doesn’t upset my stomach like some other supplements can. I also appreciate that it comes in a larger 120-count bottle, so I don’t have to reorder constantly. The only thing to keep in mind is that CoQ10 can take a little time to build up in your system, so the benefits aren’t always immediate. Consistency is key with this one. Bottom line: A well-made, easy-to-take supplement that supports both energy and heart health—definitely worth keeping in the daily routine.

Decent product, if you really need it
I don’t really have anything special or anything negative to say about this product. It’s a common vitamin that a lot of people use for a variety of reasons. It has no taste, which is actually nice. It doesn’t upset my stomach at all. The pills are small e ouch that it’s easy to swallow them. The quality of this vs any other brand is the same the difference for me is the price point. That’s what made me select Doctor’s Best. Nothing wrong with the product, I just didn’t personally notice any results. It’s supposed to help with sleep, which was a big enticement for me, but I didn’t notice a difference. No difference in pain levels or problems with hydration, as I’ve heard other people say.

Helped cure my heart palpitations
NOTE: I am not a doctor or medical professional. Consult a doctor if you have heart palpitations or before using this product. I am a 29 year old male who deals with hereditary heart palpitations. Most of the males in my family get them frequently, and it has been determined by thorough medical review that they are idiopathic. Until taking this product, nothing made my palpitations go away. Certain things such as caffeine and lack of rest would always result in an increase in heart palpitations, but even if I had a great rest and completely avoided caffeine, I would still get a flutter in my chest from time to time. Heart palpitations are almost always harmless, and were definitely harmless in my case. However, for me, they caused me a great deal of stress and unease. Sometimes I would feel like my heart was dropping out of my chest and would get a bit lightheaded. After the palp subsided, I would get a great deal of anxiety over the palp, and worry about it. Palpitations had me go to the cardiologist several times. I've had EKGs, echo cardiograms, stress tests, and have worn a heart monitor. Tests showed I had a normal but annoying amount of PVCs (extra beats). Most people have them all the time, but don't feel them. I felt each and every one and it was extremely disconcerting. Although I am in shape and exercise, doctors considered putting me on a beta blocker if the palps became worse. I needed relief from these palpitations, and came across research that Coq10 was good for the heart, cholesterol, and could offer relief from heart palpitations. I have been taking this product nearly everyday for about 8 months. In those 8 months, my heart palpitations have decreased by 90%. I understand that correlation does not mean causation, but it's very hard for me not to attribute my "cure" of heart palpitations to this product. In addition to the lack of heart palps, I have an increase in my energy, and my BP and cholesterol levels have both gone down, even though they were already at healthy levels before. I will continue to take Doctor's Best Coq10. It is an affordable, quality product that has worked wonders for me. Before trying this product I tried routine exercise, magnesium supplements, and a bunch of other "remedies" for heart palps. Nothing worked, although I still continue to exercise regularly. I highly recommend this product for heart palps. It's not just for people taking statins or for the elderly. Again, consult with a doctor to make sure heart palps aren't the sign of an underlying cause such as a heart, thyroid, or other underlying issue.

I think that these work well in my particular case.
When I was prescribed a statin (10mg) my pharmacist highly recommended that I take CoQ10 to eliminate muscle pain that statins can cause. So I started the CoQ10 at the same time. I was using a stronger dose of CoQ10 but I saw this one on Amazon, which was half the dosage and almost half the price. I've never experienced muscle pain that could attribute to taking a statin so I'm assuming that it works. My doc says that it's not a bad idea to take the CoQ10 so I take it. The only issue I have is that gel tablets stick together in the bottle. Small issue really

Daily dose
Easy to swallow and I think this brand is good quality. Our doctors all recommend that both my husband and I take CoQ10 on a daily basis. Update: 2/23/2015. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's about six years ago. It's been a weird ride because six years later he is not much worse than he was when he was first diagnosed. He's older, and frailer, but the Parkinson's isn't really any worse. When he first started having problems I wracked my brain to figure out what might be going on--we had recently both retired, and weren't these supposed to be the GOLDEN years? He was a professor, and I knew he missed teaching a little, but he was also a writer, a tennis player, a voracious reader (still is) so WHAT? What was different? And then I remembered that 10 months earlier his doctor had put him on a statin. In retrospect we should have done more research, questioned it, because his cholesterol was only 210 at the time. Over the next months he began getting groin pulls when he played tennis--so bad that they'd sideline him for weeks. His personality was also changing. Things came to a head on a riverboat cruise in Europe--"What is WRONG with you?" I cried. We came home and I began researching and backtracking and made an appt. with a different doctor. The new doctor didn't give much credence to my theory that the statin had caused the problem, saying that negative side effects disappeared after you stopped the statin--and I had stopped his statin use a month earlier when I started reading about some of the problems statins could cause. One of the things that made my blood run cold was a statement I came across time and again on the internet--Statins can drain your body of COQ10 in a month. If you take a statin, you NEED COQ10 in your supplement regimen. MY OB/GYN was always a big advocate of vitamins/supplements and had told me a year or so before that I should be taking COQ10. I bought a bottle but my own consumption was hit or miss. I mean, I wasn't having problems. But I had NOT been giving it to my husband, and to this day I wonder if someone had told us that Statin users should definitely be taking COQ10--if he had taken the COQ10 when he was on the statin--would he have developed the problems. The next months were not fun--lots of tests, bloodwork, and at one point the Internist told me he thought my husband had early stage Alzheimer's. That was when I got a referral to a specialist--a neurologist. The neurologist heard me out about the statins--told me to hold the thought--did his examination--another MRI, ordered a psychological workup--and then pronounced Parkinson's. He even went so far as to say that while he considered statins one of the greatest medical advancements in the last 50 years and prescribed them 30 times a day...for that ONE percent who negatively react? Well, in my husband's case, sometimes it seemed that statins could bring out Parkinson's 10-15 years sooner than it might have otherwise appeared. So now he takes Sinemet, the standard Parkinson's drug, but he has no tremor, and when he forgets the medication anywhere from 2-7 times a week--I can't tell any difference. I've been very frustrated with his care, quite frankly, and have recently begun doing more research to see what others are doing to help their Parkinson's beyond the standard prescription treatments. I'm trying some coconut oil, and after reading that COQ10 and vitamin E and a daily baby aspirin sometimes helped (we have executive function issues--sequential problem solving--though both his long term and short term memory are better than mine.) we now both take COQ10 religiously. I give it to him to see if it will help him. I take it as a preventative. Aging is not for sissies.
