Worth the money
I used this system with my first child starting at around 4 months old and he has no allergies now at 2 years old. I’m currently using it with my second child but started a little late at around 7 months. He was already showing interest in solids at 6 months and developed hives while eating eggs. After finishing the egg introduction packets, he no longer has any allergic reaction to eggs! I like that this system introduces each allergen separately so if your child has a reaction, you know what allergen it is, and the amounts start very low and build up to increase their exposure. I also appreciate that it’s designed to be added to breastmilk/formula so you can start long before they start solids, but it can also be mixed into foods and purées. It’s put me at ease knowing my kids are safe from developing anaphylactic allergies to the most common allergens.

Great thoughtful gift
I have family members with allergies which is a pain to deal with. Allergic reactions were scary when we were kids and nowadays I can't eat pizza or ice scream with the family. So I bought this as a gift for some friends who had a baby recently. Seemed like a more thoughtful and practical gift than a stuffed animal. It was on Shark Tank too which is fun to mention! I'm not exactly sure how old their baby is. How late is too late to start Ready, Set, Food!? It came in two nice looking boxes that aren't too big. I have a bunch of friends who are allergic to milk who are starting to have babies. Looks like I have a go-to gift ready.

Peanut packets need improvement
Worked really well up until peanut was added. It was so thick and clumpy. I tried three different nipples on our bottles, I tried breast milk and formula. I even tried the nipples for “thicker fluids” but those ended up being too fast for our 5 month old. I tried mixing it with food but there’s no way to get all of the packet in with food at this age. I wanted this to work so badly! Our first kiddo had issues with peanut. We used ready set food puffs after working through it to help maintain and we LOVED those. I was hoping this would give us a head start since our second also has eczema and may be at risk. I’m going to try mixing with breast milk and using one of those infant medicine syringes to see if that works to try to maintain what we’ve built up so far until she starts consuming more solids and I can mix it in that without wasting it.

Not great in bottles
Great concept and mostly going well with our five month old. As others have mentioned the system is slightly flawed in that all allergens are packaged together after day 5, so if baby is already allergic to one, the rest is of the system is useless. Thankfully we haven’t had that issue, but once we got to the stage where peanut was added it started clogging the bottles. No matter how well we shake the bottle, it doesn’t fully dissolve into the milk. You can see the sediment particles on the bottom. Packaging says it’s best with size 1 nipples or higher. We’re using 1s, and we have a few different bottle brands. They all get clogged with this product. Keep having to pull the bottle away and swish it around to get the sediment out of the way. Which makes for a very frustrated baby. Going to try size 2 nipples. Hopefully that will be better. UPDATE: Size 2 nipples are better, but still not great. I’ve found how I prep the bottle helps. I add the packet to 2oz warm water, shake vigorously, then add formula powder. Still clogs the bottle a bit, especially near the end of the bottle because the sediment settles to the bottom. Overall still happy with it, but can’t wait until he’s eating solids so I can add it to those.

Price increase and limited use
My sister-in-law recommended this brand to me. I started using these with my baby, and they haven't had any issues with it. I would always heat up water on the side, then mix the powder, then combine it with milk. I have some residue in the bottle, but not enough to clog any parts or stay when cleaned. The packets are easy to use, it defines when you need to open which packet. They were unavailable for a few months, so I started using these when my baby turned 8 months. I took one star off due to the price and unavailability. A box of 30 days used to cost $40ish, and now it's almost twice that. I don't think I'll continue using these simply due to the price. Update on review: my son has a confirmed egg allergy and we suspected it when we first introduced egg through these packets. Once the allergen (milk, egg, peanut) has been introduced, the remaining packets have them. So because I can’t use the rest due to the egg allergy, I can’t use the rest (and it cost me $$!). I originally gave 4 stars due to cost, but I’m taking an extra star off since I can’t use the remaining days and I probably only used 7 packets :/
