CANOPUS 72-oz Paint Mixing Cups, Pack of 12 Cups with 3 Lids, Reusable and Solvent-Resistant Clear Plastic Containers for Paint, Epoxy, Resin, Oil, and Thinner

These cups are great for small batch mixing for a bumper cover or trunk lid. They are very accurate in the markings which was an issue with a previous brand we were using. They are sturdy and the covers come in handy if using a touchup gun and cannot load all the paint. Such a good product that we plan to order some of the 22 ounce cups which are perfect as most full size paint gun cups hold 20 ounces. In short these are the brand we will be using in the future.

A pretty good product, my primary use was to soak laser cut products in wood hardener. That being said they are resistant to acetone, which is the primary thinner in wood hardener.

I bought these cups for resin. They work great and are very strong, and I really like the measurement lines and the fact that they are black and easy to read while pouring. But unfortunately, they are not reusable. So if you're looking for reusable cups for resin, they may not be the cups you want.

I'm a resin artist. I hate silicone cups, and don't like the waste of paper or disposable plastic cups. For years I've reused and carefully cleaned the disposable plastic cups that come in resin kits. But those cups often have inaccurate measurements. Silicone cups are too easy to squeeze too much and get slippery when resin gets on the outside. I've had more accidents due to silicone cups than I care to think about. So, I decided about a year ago to try using paint mixing cups. I like that they are wider and therefore shorter (also making them more ideal for the accident prone), have black measurements imprinted, are more accurate, and have measurements for ratios (can come in handy sometimes). These are easy to clean. I always clean my cups immediately, even silicone. I can't just leave resin to cure in a cup and I hate the little left behind pieces of resin. These won't last forever, but they will last longer than the ones in the kits. And these aren't expensive by comparison. I did have an issue with a couple cups that broke when removing the lids that came with them (I had used them for expanding water beads for a project). I reached out to the seller and they responded very quickly and immediately issued a partial refund. I wish all sellers were that easy to work with. I highly recommend this seller and these cups to resin artists as well as paint pour artists in addition to their intended/original use. Just be aware, in order to reuse them, you have to clean them immediately after pouring. A few sprays of 98% isopropyl alcohol and a couple baby wipes or paper towels and they are clean and ready to use again.

These buckets are quality for what they are, as long as you don't compress them too hard they wont break. They measure accurately. May want to consider making the pastic a little more flexible to prevent snaps, as they are sort of brittle.

They do what they’re supposed to do. Love the easy to follow markings on the side for the ratios. While I wish it came with 12 lids. Three lids is fine. I tend to reuse lids but not mixing containers.

What I specifically like about them are 1. Perfectly clear plastic that is easy to see through even when used 2. They clean up very welll and maintain their clear see-through properties 3. They have most every known mixing ration printed on them - a littlle confusing, but the tip is to use a Sharpie and mark your required volumes clearly so you don't mis-read them when mixing 4. Price: Value is good (way better than buying at Home Depot or Lowes. 5. Size - two quart containers are too big and one quart are too small - especially if mixing for a standard HVLP gun with a 20 ounce container.
