Is the backrest removable?

Hello! Thank you for your question! The back can be removed and the chair can still be used. If you do not need a back rest at all you may want to check out our DN-CH-K01B.

If I purchase the chair and it doesn't work for me, is it possible to return it? How long do I have to do this?

I can't answer. You would have to contact Amazon, or CKnapp Sales (the distributor) or VIVO, for the answer to this question. However, the chair requires assembly – so you might want to be clear on the return policy before you order.

What is the angle of the seat? Is the angle adjustable?

Hello! Thank you for your question! The angle of chair frame is able to be adjusted which will change the angle of the seat and the knee pad. However, the angles are not able to be adjusted independently from one another.
