I ordered these large scallop shells for a decoupage project, and they were exactly what I needed. A couple had minor imperfections, but nothing that couldn’t be worked around or added character to the finished piece. They took paint and Mod Podge really well without curling or flaking. These are pretty and simple. The price was fine, but we were surprised by how many broken ones there were. They got the job done. I would still recommend nonetheless.

The shells are fine, big and in good condition but they haven't been cleaned at all. They will need to be boiled and sanitized thoroughly before they can be used for any cooking. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of buying them online, you're better off just buying whole scallop shells at a fish market and cleaning them yourself. These are incredibly overpriced considering how much work it's going to take to make them usable.
