Seems like a nice little safe, I love the handle. Heavy but easy to carry. Just fyi, a 6x9 envelope fits but can’t lay flat in the bottom. Almost flat. Like a piece of printer paper folded in half or the size of a birthday card from your gram gram. Be aware of the inner size.

Works great! Comes with two keys. Fits documents but not much more. I used it for keeping our vehicle titles and other various documents.

The key does stick a little as mentioned by others, but is still perfectly functional in my safe. Great safe for a good price.

Im writing this review right after the safe was delivered and i was testing it out to make sure it worked before i out anything valuable. Long story short: DO NOT BUY IT!!! My sister has the same safe and hers works like a charm but she got it from BJ’s. My mistake was buying it from Amazon. In the video, the hinge of the safe is loose on the right side, whereas the left side is secured and doesn’t come loose like shown in the video. I’m not sure if that’s the reason why the safe WONT EVEN CLOSE! There’s a gap and the hook doesn’t even hook the top of the safe, therefore not even allowing me to close it. The key is turned ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT and yet it still doesn’t close properly. Waste of money, returning this garbage and getting a new one. Now i know not to buy from honeywell again.

Well built. Lock works smoothly after adding 1 drop of oil. Very nice size if you place papers in letter width envelopes. This also keeps things sorted. This is not flood proof. On page 2 of the owners manual, protective waterproof seal is on all models except #1101 which this is, so I can't store it in my basement due to moisture concerns. (The least likely place to reach the temperature limit in my house) If you don't need a waterproof box, this should do very well and take op less space than most other models.

Item arrived quickly, Its fairly heavy for its size seems well made. If you are buying this as a safe its not really a safe the latch mechanism is not heavy duty. Its just to keep nosey eyes out or kids but for a burglary safe this is not it. Its just to keep some of your papers or other items safe in case of fire. I thought it might have some sort of seal on the lip of the lid for fire protection but does not. It counts on you leaving the box laying flat and the weight of the lid making a good seal which is ok if you can keep in laying down and not standing on edge. The interior size is ok will fit the width of a legal size papers but will have to be folded for the length. All in all Im happy with it and hopefully I'll will never need it for its fireproof rating but nice to know it will protect your items.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Contacted Company twice with NO REPLIES. This safe was bought for home use to store important papers, cash, etc.. It took on moisture causing a mold and mildew issue. Not good for important documents! If you purchase, beware of potential concerns. Tried contacting the company for possible solutions, but they would not reply. I wasn't asking for replacement, just trying to get advice. I'll find a different brand for my future storage needs.

A dud. Looked okay but slot cut for locking latch to lock into in wrong position and therefore no way to lock this "safe box". Being returned after just 1/2 hour.

This product is entirely useless. The lock was broken on arrival - not surprising really given that it is so flimsy. Unfortunately, I didn't return it on time so I'm stuck with this as a heavy paperweight. Honeywell is a reputable brand so I'm surprised they make such a heap of rubbish.
