DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Pads (Wine, 30 pads) - Exfoliating & Firming Peeling Pad with PHA & Red Wine & Resveratrol & Acid Hyaluronic - Korean Skin Care

I've been thoroughly researching Korean skincare for the last week, and this was one of the products that was recommended to try as part of the 10 step routine. I checked reviews on various sites and this seems to be a favorite of women in Korea. Firstly, the container is larger than I expected, so does take up a bit of space, but it's no issue to me. It has a strong lid that locks in all of the liquid, so these pads will never dry out, which is great. Just want to mention that there are 2 other Bio-peels from this same line, which have different scents and offer different benefits. I read that the lemon is a particular favorite for using prior to applying makeup as it helps the makeup to go on smoothly and makes the skin glow underneath.... *The Lemon Bio-Peel: offers additional benefits of brightening and complexion correcting lemon ingredients for customers who suffer from pigmentation and complexion issues. *The Green Tea Bio-Peel offers pore refining and calming benefits of green tea for customers who would like to receive skin refreshing benefits while exfoliating. *The Wine Bio-Peel: contains resveratrol which offers anti-oxidant benefits for customers who would like to receive firming and anti-aging benefits additionally while exfoliating. The smell on this one is more fruity than it is wine-like, but in my opinion a really pleasant smell and not over powering at all. The pad has two sides - one is a gentle exfoliator and the other is a smooth pad that you use as step 2 to wipe away the skin after exfoliation. I was so excited to use it that I ended up using the wrong side initially, lol. The exfoliator side is very gentle and not at all like the regular abrasive exfoliators you get in the stores. Because it's so gentle you might be tempted to over scrub your face with it because it may not feel like the exfoliator is actually doing anything, but it is!! I've read reviews where some reported they over scrubbed and ending up with sore skin as a result, so just be cautious of that when using! This obviously works best when your skin is already properly cleansed beforehand!! Also - make sure you wash it off with warm water, it's not designed to be left on the skin. When using it I went over my face for a good few minutes before washing off with warm water. I wanted to really work the chemicals into my skin and target buildup of dry skin round my nose. They do recommend spending a bit more time on trouble areas that you have. The pads contain chemicals that are known for fighting acne and especially blackheads, which is one of the reasons I bought this. And it leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards! Some on here have complained about it being sticky. I'm really not sure what you expect, because it is a chemical exfoliator, so it's to be expected, and I actually like the way it makes my skin feel. But it's not at all sticky once you rinse it off. I've only used the pads once so far (they arrived yesterday) and it's recommended you only use them twice per week, so I think they will last a while. I have dry skin, so my usual routine is to use a washcloth in the shower everyday to get rid of dry flaky skin (which is somewhat effective), but it's the morning after using this product and I can report that I have no dry skin at all on my face! I did, however, use the Missha Essence mist on my face immediately after the exfoliating pad, but my face was already soft to begin with and no dry skin at all after using it. Not only is my face soft today (the morning after) but I'm noticing less blackheads also. Would highly recommend buying this. At the time of my purchase I didn't realize there were two other bio-peels with different scents and benefits. All of them are said to exfoliate the same. This red wine one seems to be more focused on anti aging (but does contain chemicals/acid that treats acne, especially blackheads), whereas the other two are for brightening/pigmentation and skin refreshing. I will have a guess that maybe the lemon and green tea would be especially beneficial for acne because they are ingredients regularly use to fight pimples. I'm considering trying the green tea one! I LOVE this product so much, it's on "holy grail" status in my evening skincare routine. It smells like a grape jolly-rancher, which may not be for everyone (especially if you're sensitive to scents), but I love it! I have combination skin-- oily T-zone and dry cheeks-- that has hyper-pigmentation, large pores around the nose / cheek / temple area and acne scars from picking at my face. Also, my skin was looking very dull and congested from winter. So after some careful online research, I decided to try this product because it combines both a manual and chemical exfoliation process using both Resveratrol and lactic acid. I noticed visible results-- softer and smoother skin-- after the first use and became hooked. After using this 2x a week for a month, the improvement is so significant that even my mother (who is very observant / critical of my skin in the way that only mothers can be) remarked on how much better my skin looks. The discolorations are fading, pores are more refined, and stubborn little bumps on the sides of my nose have disappeared. My complexion is smoother and brighter to the point where I can confidently wear a tinted moisturizer instead of full coverage foundation--which is awesome now that the weather is getting hotter / sweatier. Here's a breakdown of how I use this: - Double cleanse with oil, followed by cream cleanser (those who follow the Korean skin care regime will know what this means) - Take one pad and use the textured, gauzy side first-- buffing in gentle circular motions all over your face , neck, and decolletage. - Stop to admire the all the gunk that came from your face & neck while the Resveratrol and lactic acid essence seeps into your skin. - Flip pad over, and swipe the softer,quilted side over your face and neck. - Product instructs you to "rise with lukewarm water", but I just gently pat my face with a cool, damp washcloth to absorb the excess essence. - Continue with your regular skin-care routine ( toner, sheet mask, serums, eye cream, moisturizer, etc...)

This is one of the most unique products I have ever used. When you open the package it smells like Welch's grape juice. These are so hydrating and juicy. I really like them. Super hydrating before moisturizer

I would like to divide this review in two sections—the product itself, and the product as delivered to me. First of all, the product: these neogen exfoliating pads are amazing. These pads come in three different “flavors”— wine, lemon, and green tea. Having used all three, I personally find that the red wine ones are the best. The lemon is too drying. The green tea is nice but it does not result in the clear glowing skin that the red wine ones have afforded me. Each pad has two sides to it. There is the abrasive exfoliating side and a quilted soothing side. Contrary to other opinions, I do not recommend cutting these pads. Each pad is a sleeve. You slip it over two of your fingers and rub it over your face. The exfoliation should be followed by swiping your face with the quilted side. I have noticed a brightening and improved clarity of my skin after using these pads. I personally recommend using these no more than twice a week. So a jar of 30 pads should last you a nice amount of time. Now, the delivery. This was the first time I ordered these pads from amazon. The jar had leaked inside the box. There was no plastic seal around the top of the jar and the inside seal was partially opened. Please note that this product is non-returnable. I overlooked that when I placed the order and discovered it only when I tried to return the opened jar. Amazon customer service was great and they were quick to help me out. I am reserving judgement on the company though. Maybe it was a one shot thing and I just happened to be the one unlucky to have been the recipient of a non-perfect product. Although I got my current jar of the wine pads from elsewhere, I do plan to reorder from this company one more time when I run out. I would like to give them the benefit of doubt, since other reviewers do not seem to have had similar experiences.

I have dry/sensitive skin & why I am careful with glycolic peels in limited use. The individually packed pads are perfect since I only use them once a week or less; they're fresh and ready to use. The prices is very reasonable. The gauge pad helps remove this dead layer & unclogged pores. The soft side helps spread the product. There is always extra product in the bag if you need more, keep the pouch upright. I don't have acne prone skin. It's more pore congestion & this is effective in pushes out those "ughs" that lurk under my skin, my skin heal after this & these "ughs" don't return. The results are baby soft skin & a brighter complexion that glows. I have even given a pack to a friend. It's that good!

I like this product. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft when I’m done and doesn’t burn or make my skin feel tight or dry. The size of the pads are amazing. They are the largest pads used wiin any products I have ever seen. They also have a pocket of material on one side that the tips of your fingers slide into that makes it VERY easy to wipe all over your face. Most products I’ve tried that use some sort of pad for a delivery system have very thin and smaller sized pads that are difficult to keep flat on my face. They always curl up while I’m applying the product and I have to stop while I am using them and straighten them out again. Not this pad! This makes it very easy to get around your nose, mouth and hair line (I also continue onto my neck). When you finish with the first side of the pad, use the opposite side (from where your fingers were) to wipe over your entire face again with the quilted side of the pad. I enjoy that step as side of the pad (that has the pocket) is really soft. Then you just rinse off your face with some slightly warm water and pat with a towel to dry. My skin feels really soft and totally smooth afterwards and not at all dried out or tight. There is a slight scent of wine in this product, which is pleasant. There is enough product (liquid) in the container to keep all of the pads moist - I don’t think there will be any dried out and wasted pads in this container. Since I entered my 40’s I have started to take very good care of my skin. II haves small selection of core products that I use daily (cleansers, makeup remover, moisturizers, etc) That don’t usually change. However, I do always try new ways to exfoliate and “treat” my skin. This mask is one of those that I will add to my collection.

i kept reading about this on K beauty blogs and articles. I recently got into this skincare trend and these wipes seemed to be a great way to exfoliate and the lemon sounded like it would be great for clarifying and refreshing my skin. I wasn't thrilled about the price, but the feedback seemed to justify it. The wine wipes seem to be more popular but these were priced a little less and again, the lemon sounded refreshing, especially in the morning. The quantity was pretty good for one time use wipes. They are LOADED with product and are pretty convenient to use. They do not sting my finnicky combination skin which has been prone to sensitivity from trying out all these new products. I use these 2x a week as an exfoliating option. They are not too abrasive but the bumps on one side feel great and soothing - though I am not sure how effective the exfoliation really is. They are not makeup removing wipes - it is recommend that you wash off the product after using. All in all, I could live without them but when my skin starts to flake, I like to use these for mild exfoliation. Probably won't buy again - or maybe would try the wine ones to see the hype.

I have these on subscription I love these so much. They’re dual sided; a smooth side and a textured side. I use the smooth side first to prime the skin with the product and get the acid all on there, then go back with the textured side and lightly scrub all the dead skin and gross stuff off. It works better than any other exfoliating product or combination of products I’ve ever used. I use it only once/twice a week and follow it with toner, brightening serum, and a moisturizer. My skin has never looked better!

The product is very nice but I was a bit surprised as the sheet is really big. I try to utilize each cotton pad when I use as much as possible as the sheet is really big. When you use the rough side, be more gentle to you skin as I didn't know that so the first day I felt I rubbed it too hard. I really like the soft side.

Ya es el segundo bote que uso y me encanta como limpia en profundidad y deja la piel perfecta, (además tengo la piel sensible y no me hace daño ni me da reacción). El vendedor ante cualquier problema resuelve rápidamente. Muy recomendable, y satisfecha como siempre.

Das Produkt kam pünktlich und dick in Blasenfolie eingewickelt an. Es hat einen angenehmen Geruch und ist sehr sanft zu meiner empfindlichen Haut. Das Gesicht fühlt sich danach total glatt und sanft an. Kann den Verkäufer auch sehr empfehlen, das Produkt kam nämlich mit einer sehr netten und freundlichen Note an, das hatte ich bis jetzt noch nie und habe mich sehr darüber gefreut! :)

è la prima volta che acquisto un prodotto simile ancora non l'ho usato mi han detto che dovevo stare attenta a non prendere il sole x qualche giorno dopo aver fatto il peeling sul viso, x cui aspetto ad esserne certa di non uscire x qualche giorno di casa. però il barattolo con tutti i numero di dischetti descritti ci sono.
