I would normally wait a bit longer before submitting a review, but the current deal is too good to miss if your in the market for a finder/guide scope. So what I like, the build quality is first rate all metal solid construction, the focuser is helical thread and provides fine tuning of the focus and once focused the red collar locks everything in place. The optics are very good quality, when I first usedt it I threw a 9mm eyepiece in and was amazed to be able to visually discern the four major satelites of jupiter, not bad for a 30mm objective. I also appreciate the tripod thread on the bottom of thescopes mount. As far as dont like, it's more a case of I wish they had, I wish they had provided a dew sheild to prevent stray light entering the optics, had to make one (See Images), I wish they had more axis of adjustment with thumb screws, if fixed it would definately lift the premium feeel of the whole ensemble. note: I am going to try imaging with this scope and perhaps regret not getting the 40mm version.. PS, not an Svbony bot.

A great price during the Black Friday sale. Really nice quality all metal construction. Only limitation is the inability to usefully align using the thumbscrews which makes alignment beyond very minor tweaks impossible (unless anyone can advise me otherwise)

Ideal upgrade to a telescope with a cheap finder. I use this with a guide camera. Works perfectly

Well it took me a while of annoyance and frustration to get it in focus but I finally got decent focus on the moon. First using an eyepiece, but when I put the Svbony astro camera in I struggled to find decent focus using Sharpcap. I added a 23mm eyepiece with a 3x Barlow seems to give me a clearer image after trying different variants. Works great as a mini telescope. Still it's worth it.

Works a treat, used with star adventurer 2i guiding through PSD2 software. The focussing is a bit tricky and be prepared to almost extend thread to its limit. Product is metal construction with 1/4 thread and vixen foot so you need either a hot shoe adapter, side bracket or a 360 ballhead. Pleased with purchase and a great product for the price.

Ho scelto questo telescopio guida SVBONY per migliorare il mio setup di astrofotografia e dopo diverse nottate sotto le stelle, posso dire che è stata un'ottima scelta. La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è quanto sia compatto e leggero, si monta facilmente e non appesantisce la configurazione, cosa importante soprattutto se si utilizza una montatura non troppo grande come la mia. La messa a fuoco elicoidale è semplice da usare e abbastanza precisa. Ci vuole giusto un attimo per trovare il punto perfetto, ma una volta impostato non si muove più e durante le sessioni non ho avuto problemi di perdita di fuoco. Dal punto di vista pratico, fa esattamente quello che deve fare, trova stelle guida senza difficoltà e lavora bene con la camera di autoguida. Anche in zone del cielo meno ricche, sono sempre riuscito a ottenere una guida stabile. La qualità dell’immagine è buona per questa fascia di prezzo, le stelle sono puntiformi e il contrasto è più che sufficiente per l’autoguida. Onestamente è un prodotto che consiglierei sia a chi è alle prime armi, sia a chi vuole qualcosa di semplice ma affidabile senza spendere troppo. Cosa mi è piaciuto - Leggero e poco ingombrante - Facile da installare e usare - Messa a fuoco precisa - Buona resa con camera guida Piccolo limite Non ha un vero blocco della messa a fuoco, ma nella pratica non mi ha dato problemi Considerazioni finali Per il prezzo a cui viene proposto, è difficile chiedere di più. Fa bene il suo lavoro ed è perfetto per chi vuole iniziare con l’autoguida senza complicarsi la vita. Spero che la mia esperienza possa essere utile a chi sta valutando l'acquisto.

Good little starter kit guide combo for shorter focal lengths.

Je ne suis pas déçu par cet achat. Tout est en métal. les pas de vis coulissent bien. Le lentille est de bonne qualité. Je l'utilise comme chercheur simple avec un oculaire, pas comme lunette guide. J'ai pu l'utiliser soit avec un simple oculaire, soit avec un renvoi coudé + barlow + oculaire. (Pour l'utiliser avec un renvoi coudé, il faut ajouter un barlow pour augmenter la focale sinon la focalisation n'est pas possible), ou alors il faudrait raccourcir le tube central. Je ne regrette pas cet achat.

Like a guidescope it is ok. I easy connect camera, and connection is very firm. But just dont be confused, it is guidescope you cannot use it as viewfinder on telescope.
