It has two speeds, the lower speed is best for the shrink bags thats used to wrap gifts. Sadly , it tripped soon after getting it so I've had to be using the higher speed which does the job but at a higher risk of making holes in the bags. It is very user friendly. I've had mine for three years now!

Ordered to seal eva foam and for various home improvement chores, like added vinyl tile floor to a room. Heats up quickly, easy to use and being able to set it down on the butt end of the barrel is handy for projects requiring two hands or a quick way to hold it safely as you grab more pieces to work on. Even used it to reheat some hot glue on a cardboard box that had come loose and it worked great. If you are regluing I do recommend you have heat resistant clamps ready to help hold the peices in place incase it's too hot to hold or if you're lIke me and would rather have your hands free to move on to your next task.

Muy excelente.. tanto materiales y la calidad del aparato.. cumplió con todas mis expectativas.. tan pronto llegó y lo usé.. y me despegó una cinta para pintar.. que al arrancar se traía consigo parte de la pintura.. así la pude derretir el pegamento y salió. Gracias
