Use these tablets as camp stove fuel and pair with Esbit stoves, makeshift camp stoves or as a substitute for alcohol in alcohol-burning stoves. Tablets burn about 15 minutes each, with each tablet capable of boiling over a liter of water in minutes. Tablets are individually packed in waterproof packaging and boast a 10+ year shelf-life, making them excellent survival and emergency essentials. Extra fuel tablets can also be stored inside a stove to conserve space. They work at high altitudes and sub-zero temperatures, are smokeless and have almost no combustion residue. Makes it easy to figure out much to take along. They take a bit of direct flame to get going, but once lit they burn perfectly. As a test I used one (using the small collapsible stove I bought here) and put a full tea kettle on it. The tab was consumed, but it brought all that water to a roiling boil.
Review: Esbit Rocks - Looks good and came early although desertcarts driver delivered it after work and left it on the ground outside in an industrial park. he then claimed to have given it to a receptionist which is a lie and i was here to watch the delivery and have video. anyway cheers to Esbit these are very cool and just what I wanted for longer cook times. Jeers to desertcart who hires some liars that will throw it pout a window and call it delivered. Peace.

**Q: Can this be used indoors?**
A: Yes you can, but you might not like the smell.  Also, it's an open flame so be careful.  You might try looking at an alcohol or butane stove, they burn much cleaner for indoor use.  Thanks for your interest!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Burns/does it job well but SMELLS BAD

I've had Esbit stoves for decades, and have always liked using them. This Esbit fuel works as it should and is compact (it can be stored in the stove) and rather lightweight for camping/backpacking. However, it does smell badly, like rotten smoked fish, even through its wrapping. So I suggest if you get it, wrap it in a resealable bag and then put it all into a resealable container. And then store it somewhere that won't stink up your house. Made in Germany, is hexamine. (My new favorite/go-to solid fuel is BCB Adventure Fire Dragon...it doesn't smell and is cleaner burning/safer to use and store.)
