Easy application
Very easy application. I would suggest taping them up from the ceiling side of tiles first to get a pre cut look and then go back starting from center of ceiling and use the advised adhesive in caulk tube. It looks great in my bathroom. Always use a very sharp blade to cut and a soft hand cut from finished side If cut from factory side you get a jagged edge

You would never know it’s Styrofoam
This ceiling tiles are the coolest thing ever, super lightweight made from basically Styrofoam. Beautiful designs, they are easily damaged though, so you do have to be gentle when installing, not pushing very hard, or you will end up with finger indentations. We went to install and thought we bought glue, but we did not, we bought caulking, but surprisingly that worked excellent! They are super easy to use, we installed this on top of a popcorn ceiling, and it hides it 100%. You can decide to paint over these if you want, I chose to just put them up and let them up without painting because I like the little glisten. they worked excellent! You can decide to paint over these if you want, I chose to just put them up and let them up without painting, because I like the little glisten to them, so far I’ve done two bedrooms and thought enough to do another hallway. There’s also multiple colors and designs to choose from, I chose just a basic plain tile. Overall great purchase and I would definitely recommend!

Arrived badly damaged. Dented, scratched, unusable
Terribly packaged. These are extremely thin lightweight pieces of foam and they were shipped in a box with zero protection... Not even the usual Amazon Brown paper inside it.. no peanuts or popcorn.. nothing. They were damaged on all sides.. scratched up, deep digs and dents, the edges all out of shape. And even if they were packaged properly and arrived in tact, I'm not sure I would want to use these since there is zero finish on the Styrofoam. To use these, you'd likely have to put some kind of coating on it to ensure your paint stays. It's a lot of work. I guess maybe if you're doing a large enough surface area this makes sense, or if your ceilings are tall enough then nobody would notice though. Other than that, this ain't really for a regular home owner DIY

Look great, just take care when installing
They started curling up with the tube adhesive but went up well with spray adhesive. I’m giving four stars because they are a bit flimsy and the edges were rounded so I need to go in between the corners to touch them up. After they were installed they looked awesome! Love the black!

Love it!
Worked great. Looks more gold in the pic but in person less bright which we liked. Super easy to install. Would def recommend.

Fantastic and easy to work with
Great product! I was finishing a partially finished half bathroom in the basement (just toilet and sink). Floor was installed, walls and doors up, fixtures in place, just needed a ceiling. So my initial attempt was with beadboard. That did NOT go well. So I began searching. I did NOT want to mess with Sheetrock again. If I never touch another piece of Sheetrock again in my life it will be too soon. Anyway, I ordered two boxes of these to allow for mess-ups (a necessary thing I have found as a diy-er). These things are super easy to install/cut. Don’t be taken aback when you open the package. They are super super light and you are thinking “really, styrofoam?!” But trust me it works. I used loctite white adhesive. These tiles are forgiving if a screw head is slightly popped out too which helps a bunch! I used a base of plywood and just glued them up. Even without paint they look great but they DO need paint. They mar very very easily! Be careful with rings, fingernails, etc. I indented one putting the light fixture back up but I’m hoping paint will help that. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I can imaging how easy it would be working with an existing ceiling (covering popcorn ceiling, etc).

Honest Review
Redoing a master closet. Cons: The adhesive recommended by the manufacturer, Locktite Power Grab will not stick the tiles to a popcorn ceiling. The popcorn will have to be removed. The recommended adhesive also will not stick if the ceiling has not been cleaned very well after the popcorn is removed. The tiles are easily damaged if you don't handle them carefully. Pros: Once the surface is prepped correctly installation is quick and easy. They look good and hide an imperfect ceiling very well. I will be sealing the seams with caulk. I recommend doing this because the tiles do not always line up perfectly even when following the chalk line because rooms are not always square. I had hoped to avoid painting the tiles after installation but I believe it will be necessary. The tiles have a shimmer and if that's not the look you are going for then painting is the best option. I am not to that point yet but the manufacturer states they can be painted with a latex paint. We shall see. Other than some aggravating issues that I feel could have been avoided if the manufacturer had provided better information with the suggested adhesive I think when the project is completed I will be happy with the results.

These tiles are amazing. I was hesitant to purchase from some shady reviews but they came undamaged and so easy to install. Above is before and after photos. I had wood inserts in the ceiling and they covered perfectly. I painted before installation and did need 2 coats for good coverage. Used pl 300 foam board adhesive in a caulking tube. They are like the foam plate styrofoam but that doesn’t matter to me because they worked beautifully. Couldn’t be happier!

First off, let me start by saying yes this material is basically the same thickness and feeling as a styrofoam takeout container. However, you don’t want a heavy material hanging from your ceiling. You want something that is lightweight to prevent it from falling down. With that being said, I love how it’s thin, about 1/8”, and very easy to make cuts so it can fit in tighter places. I would recommend this product 110%! Some pieces did come damaged, but I took that into account when ordering (as you should with everything) and I have no regrets. We used LePage 300 for the adhesive and a DAP Flex Plus paintable caulking to clean up the seams between each sheet.

Product was used to improve ceilings in our cottage. Used in two bedrooms. Looks really good and updates the rooms significantly. Installed with caulking. Good value for money. Similar products at big box stores would have cost us $1000.

I used instant grab. Then foam adhesive. Then lepage quick grab. The tiles were shipped arched from the heat shrink wrap. Corners refuse to stay stuck. Tile continuously curls most to all tiles have fallen. There are now curling and beginning to fall again. The surface underneath is perfectly smooth. 12x12 fibre tiles with primer. There is no reason for this other than the me work from the curling will not go away. Complete waste of 3 hours and excess of 70 dollars of glue as well as the cost of the tiles
