If they're certified, why are they "non-medical" ?,Thanks.

I can't see anywhere on the box that I have that they are non-medical.  They are, of course, without valves, which for public use is correct as it protects others as well you, which any respirator with a valve doesn't.  Medical kit tends but doesn't have to have a valve.  That's all I can think of.  Not been on their website for long.  And it's 'only' FPP2, not FPP3, but again, not all medical staff have easy access to FFP3-level PPE either.

They are not the simpler surgical masks - and most of those on the consumer market really are non-medical.

But, unless I've missed something, I've not found any indication that they are marked non-medical - on my current box - and they seal very well and are surprisingly comfy if worn properly.

Disclaimer: I'm not trained in any way, so take what I write with a pinch of salt and the due caution.  IMHO they're better than any others I've had the misfortune of ordering and, at times, binning.

What happens if you wash one accidentally (Back pocket of jeans) ?

I don't know what happens, but as they are one use only, I would suggest that you bin it. I don't know what you've paid for your masks, but if you've paid £40 for 10, you have to decide whether your life is worth £4 or less, should you decide to use it.

The company is German, but that doesn't mean they were made there. Most products no longer show where they were made unless they were made in China.
