A Really Impressive Little Juicing Machine
I have owned several juicers over the last few years and I feel strongly motivated to submit a positive review for this PureMate machine. Having owned several medium priced juicers (which either cracked, broke or in which the motors burnt out) I eventually invested a couple of years ago in a SAGE juicer. It had a very high price tag but is undoubtedly a strong and efficient machine, especially useful when juicing large volumes. However the drawbacks of the SAGE is it is both very large and heavy. So I made the decision to invest in a smaller machine for quick and low volume juicing tasks. I read some very favourable customer reviews on the PureMate juicer and, although the £39.99 price tag seemed just too good to be true (I had some reservations believing that you generally get what you pay for), I went ahead with my order. I must say that I have been extremely impressed with this little machine. It looks stylish and is not flimsy - even in comparison to some machines I have previously owned that were double the price. It is absolutely perfect for quick juicing jobs in the kitchen and is a delight to clean with all components coming easily apart. Any juicer needs to be treated with respect in that you cannot expect to throw all manner of whole fruits in and trust the motor to survive the challenge. But this is a mean little machine and sits happily and attractively on the counter top with a minimum footprint. I’m very pleased indeed with this machine and wanted to share the fact!

Fantastic juicer for the price
This is my second machine, my first was from Vivo. I have to say anyone who says it doesn't do the job isn't using it properly. I have been juicing for 3 years everyday. This is a middle range product. A good start to juicing at £50 is very well priced. You have to clean 5 parts and you can just rinse between juices. Easy to clean in my eyes. If your really serious go for a £299 masticating juice. Will get out virtually 100% of juice but will set you back a bit and fiddly to clean. I would go for this juicer again. Invest in a blender too, I have a nutribullet which is fab, allows you to take juicing to a whole new level. You can then add things like acidophilus, spirulina, wheat grass etc. I have a morning juice of half an avocado, acidophilus, wheatgrass, spirulina, crushed ice in the blender. Juice a 3inch chunk of cucumber, a stick of celery, two apples, 1 lime in the juice add to blender and blender. It's lovely and refreshing and get you ready for the day. Pulp comes out fairly dry. For the price I give this 10/10, let see what happens with a follow up review 6months later...

A great gateway Juicer
I go through phases (as I think most people do) of going on various health kicks. Juicing’s the only one that's really stuck and I tend to do three day juice detox's regularly. We recently moved house and I couldn't for the life of me find my old Phillips ultimate Juicer - at the time of purchase it exceeded £300. Knowing that the sure-fire way of finding something is to buy a replacement, I took a punt on a cheapie, hoping it'd at least fill in until we found the original one. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance! It cut through most things no problem (takes a little longer than my original, but really nothing too severe). The only issue I had whilst using it was it cutting out - I was using it every day, 5 times per day. Upon closer inspection it seemed that the pulp had built up around the centrifugal ring and stopped it working. A quick dig out with a spoon and it was up and running again. I'd recommend cutting the hard skins off things like pineapples and avocados (that’s what caused the issue), but otherwise, it's great. Fantastic price. I've since found my old Phillips (obviously) - it's clearly not fair to compare the two, but the Phillips is not £260-worth better, if that makes sense. I'm giving this juicer to my sister who's never tried juicing before to see if she'll get into it; and I think that's exactly what this juicer should be bought as - a gateway into juicing. Originally my Mum and myself tried juicing for the first time together - Mum hated it and has never tried again - £300+ would have been a lot to waste, but at £40, I'd say it’s well worth the gamble!

Worst purchase of all time
The worst purchase I have ever made. I bought this to save time making ginger and tumeric shots. It hardly produces any liquid and the pulp blocks up the juicer rather than going into the pulp dispenser. It has to be emptied multiple times and can only juice a small bit of vegetable at a time. What usually takes me 10 minutes using a food processor and cheese cloth has taken over an hour with little result. Please don't waste your money.

East to use
very good value for money. Easy to use and clean. Is not too noisy. Well constructed. Use twice a weekly for my juice making, still going strong since Christmas. Has a hard fruit and soft fruit option. You do have to stand there and press the fruit down but for the price it is excellent. The juice does still have some small pulp in it which I sieve for my children. There is no smell when using the machine. It is quite powerful as it juices carrots and beetroot easily. Comes with a cleaning brush, I hand wash leave to air dry then pack away.

Juicer
Love this machine, very easy to use and clean. Juices from tomatoes to carrots. Has a soft or hard fruit option. 10/10 for me! Not very noisy, has several parts but easy enough to assemble. Carrot pulp was dry. Yields a lot of juice from fruit.

Not for a lot of juicing, it stops working when used for a couple of minutes. Wouldn't recommend it if you want to juice a few bottles.

Terrible. No instructions in the box. Started smoking while trying the blend carrots I already cut so small. Extremely disappointed.
