Not the fastest drive but great for you tax files and casual backups. Good packaging.
I needed smaller drives for small file backups and speed was not a consideration. Great for you annual Income Tax dump. I also use these with the Beringer X32 Digital Mixer, which requires smaller USB drives. This stick has a self-storing cover, which protects the "business end" of the stick and prevents loss. They are cheap enough that you can give them away to share files. Have worked well and I'm a happy customer.

10 for under 30, great deal, reliable, but a bit slow.
10 of these for less than 30 duckets - you really cannot go wrong. The drive themselves are exactly as pictured, no surprise. They are jet black, which makes them tough to write on, so use a white or other color paint marker. They do have a small hole to put on a keychain, but because of the location and angle, make sure the ring is a relatively big one. These are a great package to throw an install copy of Win 10, another couple for Linux and Windows recovery tools. One for PartedMagic, another couple for your favorite Linux distributions. Just fast enough to make a couple of light ones (Q4OS, Puppy, etc.) live for use in older computers. The older computers are limited in USB speed anyways, so no big loss. I would not run anything heavily on these as the speed on modern boxes is just too slow. All 10 were reliable with no problems at all. Cache fills up pretty quick with these so they will become very slow with large file transfers, but that is too be expected. Great to put backups, give to the kids for school, throw a bunch of video and photos from get-togethers to give away, etc. Cannot be beat for the price. The connector retracts, but it's tight. They are pretty tough. Worth the purchase!

These are EXTREMELY BASIC, 2.0 USB drives, Know your needs when looking at these.
Today, thumb drives are difficult to chose from. You are told basic info, called click bait, to get you to the info page. This is done because most buyers will purchase after clicking onto the info page, at least 50% but bet it is more. But they dont Tell you the entire story, only what they must. If they dont tell me drive speeds, I won't purchase from them. THESE DRIVES, the Attache thumb drive, are 2.0, and in a high end drive, 2.0 is not a terribly slow speed. These drives are slow. But that is not all bad. For us who are using them for back ups or in my case, for my audio book and music storage and play back, slow is not important, it will play back just fine. but if you are unloading or reading huge files, pics, documents, you will find time for a coffee or sandwich during the save operation. Speed seems connected with size of memory as well. Unless you are buying fairly inexpensive drives, the speed should be acceptable. But I did find with PNY 512gb drives that because of the drive and/or some action inside the memory control programs, they are very slow, even the supposed fast speed drives. I am guessing this may be true of all very large memory thumb drives. -- I attempted to run a linux op sys from that drive, yes it is possible to do this, but because of the memory management in the drive, it would run then slow way down, run fast, then slow down. I ended up using them for back up drives The memory management has to move memory around, this is needed because flash memory (the same with SSD's) do not fragment files like hdds can. They remove the entire file, and rewrite it in a block of memory as a whole file. With the event of write wear damage which leads to the early demise of memory in thumb drives and especially SSD's, this file manipulation takes time away and decreases the life of the memory faster than on hdds. The HDD do not suffer from write wear. These drives do not have led activity lights. This was almost a no sale for me. Only the price vs memory size prompted me to buy them. That activity light can be very important at times and I dont understand why the manufacturers are cheaping out. They operate like any other thumb drive, are easy to use, and are easy to lose. I strongly recommend getting a small case to carry your thumb drives in if you take them with you. That is the joy of portability. However, NEVER hang them from your key chain. You will be sorry at some point. You have been warned. I have not experienced a failure yet but, as in all drives, I strongly recommend you save to 2 drives, one to work on, the other as a back up drive, just in case your working drive fails. These are memory drives. They CAN BE USED FOR BACK UPS of files but know what you are doing. Memory drives use a residual amount of electricity, even when unplugged from the computer to maintain the memory. If you make a back up of an important document or pics, you need to keep them in a cool place, and yearly, plug them in the computer to refresh that residual energy charge in the drive. in my experience, Thumb Drive Failure has never happened when being used as a back up storage. I have experienced failure by user error. Thumb drives are fairly safe for your data, but as I said, if the data is important, make a second back up on another thumb drive. Thumb drives are great for holding files and data. they are pretty much reliable to the point I had used them to back up operating systems when the virus attacks were so bad they would shut down my computers. At that point, thumb drives were priceless. IF you are not needing Fast read/write speeds, but are looking for an extra amount of memory space to store or access data, These may be adequate for you. with that I will RECOMMEND THEM. However IF you need something that reads and writes fast, look at the better, more expensive drives and pay attention to the speeds. If the seller does not post the drive speeds, then it is a SLOW speed drive and you need to look else where. I will repost if I learn anything more about these drives I do not know the seller and did not receive any money or product for my random review. 230412 1147

Cheap option that works
Great for the price, and I knew I was not getting a 3.0 USB here, it's 2.0, so it's slow, but that is ok for me. Biggest issue, and reason for four stars and not five, is they are hard to open and close most of them, very sticky which is a pain. Some are ok, some are worse, but they at least all hold data and transfer data fine.

Good quality at great price
I bought this multi-pack of drives to put videos, pictures and documents on for family members and friends. This is a very reliable brand and I have never had any issues with them and the price point is low enough that I can afford to give them away and more than enough memory for multiple videos and photos. I am basically the guys who takes all the pictures at family functions, vacations, tips, etc. It is great to send them out to close friends and family for end of year with photos from the year along with Christmas cards.

USB Storage
These are a great buy as I use them quite a bit. Only drawback is that they are made of plastic. Otherwise they work extremely well. No data loss, are transportable and are very versatile.

32GB PNY sticks. Work. Good price for the GB.
I have used most of the 32GB sticks. All worked that i tried. They are each in individual little plastic bags all in a tough large plastic bag. Did not test the speed but they seem fast enough. Did not fill up all the way to test GB but they seem to work as expected. They are not cheap junk. They are pretty durable and have a good feel. I would buy again since they were a good price per GB. I just needed some that I could give away or use spur of the moment so I was not concerned about getting the most GB per stick but getting the most bang for the buck per stick with, to my mind, a reliable name brand.

Terribly designed
Terribly designed. They're supposed to slide, but the slider part is glossy plastic so it ends up being impossible most of the time, as well as getting stuck half way.

Unreliable / Short Lifespan
While these are inexpensive, they are not great for storing important files. I get write errors when moving sets of larger files (ISOs, etc.) and read errors getting the files off later. Out of the 10, 4 were error-prone from the start and over the months the other 6 are showing similar behavior. I frequently need to Repair the memory stick when I insert it to a computer (desktop to laptop to friend's house). Unfortunately, I was using them as boot images and it took a while to determine that the problem was with the sticks. Speed wise, when they are working I got 6-8MBps transferring larger files on a direct USB3.1 port. This is low-end USB2.0 performance. Using a USB3 hub, I got 5 of them all transferring at 6-8Mbps each, so it looks to be a max performance for the flash drive and not my hardware. I had wanted to like these and PNY is at least a brand I recognize, but they are less useful to me than desired. Nowadays, I just use them when I need to give files to other people. They were cheap, so I don't feel significant loss when they forget to give them back! I did need to go buy proper ones from the local computer shop, though, as these sticks did not solve the problem that I bought them for!
