M-K231 Replace for M-K231s Brother M Tape 12mm 0.47 White P Touch

I was leery of all these different off-brand P-touch tapes available on the market , especially the white-print-on-black-tape, after having read so many bad reviews about jamming, cartridge incompatibility, inability to separate the backing from the label, etc. I took a chance on this one and was 100% satisfied. I received 4 cartridges at a fraction of the manufacturers cartridge price (though I don't think P-touch even makes a white-on-black "M-Tape"). Anyway, I printed about 50 name tapes to use on black name badges and had ZERO problems! They all printed correctly... quality, straight, and clear. I had NO jams. There is a separate price of white film on the face of the tape (not sure if it's a film of white ink or if it's simply protective), but it kind of wrinkles up as the tape comes out of the machine and it separates very easily from the label. The backing splits down the center and opens easily so that you can quickly and simply separate the backing from the label. Very happy with this product. Will definitely bay again when it's time!

Fit perfectly into my label maker. The tape is a more matte finish, which I like better than the original. No glare off of it so you can read the label better.

I bought this 4-pack of Labelife label tape to use with my Brother P-Touch label maker and it has worked perfectly as a replacement for the OEM tape. The fit is exact, it loads without any fiddling, and the labels print clearly with sharp black text on white. The adhesive is strong and I have had labels stay put on bins, cables, and shelving without peeling at the edges. For those who go through label tape regularly, the 4-pack value is excellent. Buying OEM tape in smaller quantities gets expensive quickly and this is a reliable alternative that performs the same way. Each roll feels the same length as the original and I have not noticed any quality drop compared to Brother-brand tape. The 12mm width is the most versatile size for general labeling and this tape nails it. Text legibility is excellent and the white background gives a clean, professional look on any surface. If you use a Brother P-Touch label maker, this is one of the best third-party tape options available and I will continue buying it.

I have bought these before. The label has a split in the back to make they easy to peel. They stay stuck also.
