I purchased these to add something new to my Christmas Light Show. I have never had rotating lights before but my friend had and found these and said they sounded pretty good.When I received them I had to make a XLR to RJ45 cable since these will be run through RJ45 light show networks.I ordered the XLR connections and today made my cable.My great friend called me and they were set up and successfully receiving commands from our software. Took about 5 -10 mins to set them up for testing.During the discovery process of figuring out the values for each channel he discovered some channels were more advanced than some of some higher prices rotating head lights.He was also surprised that they were so easy to set up.Once we were finished setting them up I was able to run one of his sequences through my computer and I am in awe of the results.They work perfectly.I will def buy more of these.**** IF YOU HAPPEN TO RECEIVE THE OFFER TO GET A FREE STAGE LIGHT FOR OFFERING GOOD FEEDBACK OR CABLES ***** DO NOT BELIEVE.It’s been 6 months, I never received anything after placing the video and following their directions. Their last email to me said “we have to evaluate”. How difficult is it to read a review and watch a video? Video removed and I should take a way 5 stars for not standing by their word! But the lights work as described and has nothing to do with their word.

The media could not be loaded.  If you’ve got a decent sized space and want some lighting effects to create a club like atmosphere, these should be your choice. Couple details first; while these lights are controllable, there is not a remote control. That seems to cause some confusion; unless you’re actually running a club and have the time, patience, and experience to custom program these lights you’re gonna set them to run on the preset program which is what you see in my video. It won’t be perfect but your guests won’t notice while they’re partying, dancing, singing, and drinking.These particular lights come in a pair so that is taken care of but IMO these lights are most impressive in pairs or even higher quantities synced so they are all moving together which is what you also see in my video. To do this you will need to buy a DMX cable of the right distance to space out your lights. The control panel on these units isn’t the easiest to navigate but if you read the manual, you can figure it out. Set the unit closest to your music source (so it will sound activate well) as the master unit and set the others to slave. The effect is very cool when your lights are moving together and sweeping across the walls and floor perfectly in unison.I was pretty shocked at the build quality of these lights. They are relatively heavy although much of the outer casings are plastic. As many mention, they can be fairly noisy. You will hear their cooling fans turn on immediately when they power on and you’re also going to hear some machine noises from the motors turning the lights around; I would compare it to the sound of a home inkjet printer working. I consider it normal and if you’re playing music at a decent volume it fades into the background easily. These lights are not small by any means but they are fairly compact. I had the ability to mount mine from my ceiling which I think creates the best effect but they’ll work well from the ground as well; just keep them where they won’t get damaged.Final bit of advice is that if you’re trying to create a cool vibe you should consider adding some other lights. In my video you’ll see a “spider” type light. It’s quite boring by comparison but the moving head lights are so busy scanning around your room that they’ll leave your dance floor dark and empty often. Find some decent and cheaper lights to keep your dance floor interesting all the time so your moving head lights can scan the room creating that club atmosphere with their cool gobos and color changes. I’d say these lights provide an excellent value for the price. I’ve only had these lights in use for a few hours so if I have any durability issues I’ll update this review with more comments.

I recently installed 2 of these fixtures in a skating rink I work at and they add to the lighting rig as expected. I use them to point at a disco ball in the middle of our circle truss setup and it works just fine. I find the best use of this light is when I program them via DMX and DMXIS to chase back and forth through the rink, they add a special effect.Compared to the Chauvet Intimidator 90w 360 spot, these lights are less bright and do not put out a three facet prism effect. I was still pleased with the lights since they are 1/8th of the price a piece when compared to the Intimidator. Overall, a worthy investment and I will be purchasing more to add to the rink lighting rig.Would Recomend!

The fixtures arrived earlier than expected. All in one box and were packed very well. So, you really don’t have to worry about getting any damaged products. Plugged them up and both fixtures seem to work as expected. Programming was simple and a piece of cake. For the money… I would ABSOLUTLY RECOMMEND this product to anyone who is looking to start in at the beginner level of using moving heads and DMX programming for them. And also, for those old Pro’s out there who just want to ADD a little something extra to the MIX. RECOMMEND

Have now used this for several band gigs. Perfect if you run tour own lights from the stage. Just hit the middle music activated mode on the remote when your set starts and let the GOBO lights do their magic!Update: During breakdown at the end of a gig two months back the the banner stand fell ... hard. GOBO light directly crashed after a 9" fall, figured that was the end of that unit. Took it home to see if I could salvage anything from it. Fired it up ... and amazingly it took a licking but kept on ticking! Has worked flawlessly since, just used it again last night several gigs later. GREAT product!!

Bright, colorful, plug and play.... amazing bright lights. I use it for my mobile DJ gigs and gets compliments all the time. Hope they last

Excellent value. Very bright, these lights far exceeded my expectations for the cost. They work very well for mobile DJ gigs, and are responsive and fast. I bought 4 but am going to get 4 more. -1 star as I notice they tend to lose sync with home position so they gradually aim a bit off from where they should but, with the way I use them for flash and trash lighting as opposed to precision, it is no big drawback. Highly recommended

these are significantly brighter than my old set, love the auto programs/gobos
