- Swim Tether Stationary Swimming System - Resistance Belt & Pool Harness for Training

We just put in our first inground pool and I love swimming. I wasn't sure that I would really get a good swim in with the pool design and a friend told me about these swim trainers. I LOVE IT! I can swim forever in my 16x40 ft pool. I have worked up to 30 minutes of continuous swimming and the system is so easy to use. I think of it like a "treadmill" for swimmers. The belt is comfortable and fits both me and my husband. I have been looping the end over the electrical outlet post at the deeper end of the pool/patio. I have plenty of length to swim into the middle of the pool so not near the sides. I also love the ability to walk in water with the system. Overall great purchase getting daily use.

The tether is long enough to use the ankle attachments and still swim in place about ten feet from the anchor. Did not like the belt attachment. Tether is too long for this and your feet are forced way down from water surface. One word of caution, I am a 36 waist and the belt barely fits and the ankle attachments are very small as well. Quality set but the attachments need to be bigger.

bought this for my kid who is a competitive swimmer for training. The parachute is a little big, and the bungee is super long. But I like that you can attach it to both feet and use for resistance training. Took a star off because it's too long if you're just gonna attach the parachute though. Had to use the old bungee.

It works out. My daughter prefers the belt over the ankle straps. I tethered it to an umbrella stand and it works really well giving her enough resistance. I wrapped the bungee around the umbrella a few times to make it shorter.

I would give this 5 stars if not for the rust. Works great. I attached it to my deep end line hooks and swam diagonally across the pool. Just the right amount of give and rebound and was easily able to switch from breast stroke to back stroke with just a turn of the belt. The rust is really disappointing as this is an amazing product. Once dry, this was stored in a water tight cabinet.

I always wanted to like swimming but I could never get the hang off it. This device works! It allows me to focus on my breathing without having to worry about hitting the end of the pool. I tethered it to my kids pool basketball hoop and it works great.

We have a modestly sized swimming pool and laps are a nuisance. Three or four strokes and you have to turn. I really appreciate being able to swim now without constantly hitting the wall. Materials are sturdy and work as advertised. Happy I purchased it.
