Awesome Guitar, Awesome Company!
I purchased this guitar despite being skeptical about it being any good due to the very affordable price. I also did have a small hiccup with the first guitar I ordered but EART was quick to respond and save the day. Hands down the best support I have seen especially with what seems like a small player in the guitar game, at least here in the US. On to the guitar itself. Aesthetically it is very stunning and easily rivals more expensive guitars in the looks department. Right out of the box the guitar was playable but the action was not to my liking so I spent a few minutes lowering the action as far as it could. This bridge is very good at staying in tune but is a little tricky if it's your first time working on a headless guitar. I figured it out pretty quickly though. Google and YouTube is a good place to start. The body is very comfortable. The pickup routes might not be perfect but for the price I cant complain nor will it ever affect playability. The 5 piece neck feels great with absolutely no problem hitting the 24th fret. The fretwork is very nice and the fret ends are better than even some of my high end USA and Japan made guitars. That being said, it blows guitars in its price range out of the water. I'd compare it to guitars in the $500-$700 range. The pickups sound surprisingly good and the only real drawback I could find is that the guitar is not shielded so you will have some hum. Its quite easy enough to remedy with some shielding paint or even some copper or aluminum tape. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and impressed with the support from EART. Of course for this price it is not perfect but it's damn close in the places that matter. If you're thinking of buying this guitar I would advise you to pull the trigger. Just know you might have to put in some time to set it up a bit.

Ideal neck et al
I own a dozen guitars or so and have played for 40 years. This guitar is an amazing value. The highlight is the neck. The fretwork is SUPERB. Smooth ends up and down all 24 frets on both sides (high E and low E). The compound radius of the fretboard makes bending and chording (even chords up above the 15th fret!) effortless. These features are becoming more common features on guitars, most recently with the smooth rolled fretboards of Sire guitars. But here's the thing... the backside and overall thickness of the neck also changes throughout. The combination of all of these factors make it the best playing neck on a guitar that I own. The neck joint feels tight. It is very strange to play a guitar that is so stripped down that resonates so well. It's loud and full sounding. The access to upper frets is excellent and all notes are easily reachable even for big hands like mine. The bridge is unique. Lots of ways to adjust strings. It's resonant as well, surprisingly, given all of it's moving parts. Once your strings are stretched, action is set and the guitar is tuned up... it doesn't go out of tune. It just doesn't. The body is very ergonomic. This is something that I don't require but enjoy. You can play it in a normal resting on your thigh position or in a upwards position where the headstock is pointing at the sky (Hello, Ice Cream Man solo stretched licks!). The body is cut to accommodate both positions. The pickups are ok. May be a little mushy but that is to be expected at this price point. I will say that they are far better than I expected but I will still replace them at some point, probably with a set of Duncans that will cost more than half of the price of this guitar. The knobs were very good but a bit too tall for me so I replaced them with some strat knobs and that worked. The output jack is out of the way and angled up (all guitars should be like this?) so that your chord will head towards the strap end which helps facilitate the ol' chord tuckeroo. I got the blue-USA finish and the poplar wood veneer looks and feels cool. The guitar is an amazing value. Excellent neck in every way. How is this guitar so resonant? Perfect couch guitar. Perfect travel guitar. Pickups are ok but easily replaced with a Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set or whatever. Overall, at this price-point... ? Wow.

Great headless guitar especially for the money.
Got one of these to try out headless style guitars on a budget, and I have to say, this thing is NICE. I absolutely Love the look of the guitar, there's some really beautiful wood grain on this. It feels great in the hands, the neck is smooth, the fretwork is easily the best out of any guitar I've ever owned. Came in set up good enough for me, all I had to do was tune it and go. The little magnetic key tool for tuning is different then what I'm used to, but works good and is easy to use. All I've done is change out the strap buttons for some locking ones just out of habit. I was originally planning on changing out the pickups as well, mostly because I'm not a fan of chrome, but I was surprised they actually sound good, so I'm keeping them. My only gripe is the pots aren't that smooth to turn, they DON'T have that awful electrical scratching sound bad pots have, they just don't feel as smooth to fiddle around with as my Ibanez or Epiphone that are in the same price bracket. maybe I'm just being picky now who knows? All that being said, I'm VERY impressed with this guitar, and I'd strongly recommend this if you're looking for a headless guitar, and don't wanna spend the 2-3k on a Strandberg. Hell, my only complaint is the pots are kinda meh, the rest of the guitar is stellar for this price. I'll be keeping an eye out for more EART guitars in the future for sure. Now to find a case...

I’m a self confessed guitar snob, none of my guitars are ‘cheap’ and when I wanted a headless guitar last year I bought one from the brand that begins with Strand and ends with Berg, costing me well over a £1000. When it arrived I was disappointed in many ways and it went back, never to be replaced. But, the headless itch didn’t go away, so having read and watched many Eart reviews I thought I’d chance my luck on a GW2, fully expecting to be disappointed again. The guitar arrived a full week ahead of the quoted delivery date, and it is stunning! I went for the plain top in black and I’d recommend it. The burl veneers on the other models are paper thin and I’d be concerned about their durability. The plain top is just beautiful! The wood has a deep grain which is visible, front, sides and back through the matte paint finish. It looks like a guitars at least four times its price and better than most headless guitars I’ve seen in stores from the major brands. It feels amazing too! The neck is a revelation. Not too thin, but certainly not too thick, beautifully carved and finished in a flawless satin that isn’t sticky and feels lovely when you’re playing. The fret ends are smooth and well polished, and the rosewood board is dark and smooth and attractively grained. It’s the kind of build quality I’d expect to see and feel on a boutique build, not a sub £350 Chinese made axe. The hardware is solid, the electronics function well and the pickups exceeded my expectations hugely. The tone from this guitar is amazing for the price. All things considered, I can honestly say that had I tried this guitar in a store and been told it was made by a better known brand, I probably would have happily paid £1500+ for it. It’s that good! I know I’m gushing, but I can’t stress just how much I’m impressed by this guitar. I’m half tempted to order another before Eart realise that they’re massively under selling themselves and increase the price. I must stress, I’m not being paid for this review and I paid in full for the guitar. If you’re considering a headless guitar and reading this - buy the Eart GW2, get the plain top version. You’ll be thrilled when it arrives.

Bis dahin also alles gut. Was werde ich verändern?

This guitar is absolutely amazing!! i have been playing guitar for over 30 years and i own 2 really nice ibanez electric guitars. I just got this guitar today and it has instantly become my favorite guitar of all time! This thing is phenomenal from head (even though its headless lol) to toe. The stainless steel frets are pristine. The action is perfect, the intonation is perfect, it stays in tune amazingly well, absolutely NO FRET BUZZ anywhere on the fretboard WHATSOEVER and it plays like a dream!! Chording and note bending are as smooth as melted butter! If anyone on here tells you this guitar is anything less than amazing do NOT believe then for a second! I am not affiliated with Eart in any way shape or form, and i am not getting paid to say ANY of this. But this guitar is perfect in every way. Some have complained that the tuners are hard to turn. They are NOT!! you do have to twist slightly harder but anyone over 4 years of age should have NO problem adjusting the tuners. It DOES have a winding tool attached to the body magnetically and you can use this when changing strings because you will have more winding to do. But that is the only time you would ever need it. I cannot say enough about this guitar. If you are looking for an amazing musical instrument for an incredibly low price look no further. This is everything you could have ever dreamed of having. Im seriously thinking of buying a second one. I suppose it is possible that you could get a defective one. Thats the only reason I can possibly think of as to why anyone could possibly give this guitar a less then stellar review. So if that were to happen, just return it and order another one. Mine is absolutely phenomenal right out of the box. No adjustments were necessary at all. But if adjustments happen to be necessary with the guitar you received its not a big deal at all to have them done. I must say i am a very proud owner of an amazing new guitar. Bravo EART!! You have made a timeless classic piece of musical equipment. If you love guitars as much as I do order one of these ASAP before the price most surely goes up! You wont be disappointed. I would have paid 1500.00 for this guitar. YES is is THAT good! I have been using amazon for many years and i have never written a review on anything that i have ever bought from them. But i felt compelled to do so in this case. I just want people to know what an amazing product this guitar is. The only thing I can think of that may be slightly less than stellar on this guitar would be the pickups. The guitar is only 400 bucks so all you would need to do is buy better pickups and just swap them out, then you have a world class guitar in terms of build quality that cannot be beat. But the pickups that it comes with are still decent. So what are you waiting for? Buy this guitar today! you will not regret it. Sincerely One VERY happy customer!!
