Comparing 4 Styles of 90 Degree Leggings
After finding a pair of 90 Degree By Reflex Leggings at T.J. Maxx and LOVING them, I was thrilled to see that they so many styles available on Amazon too (for almost the same price as T.J.Maxx). I went ahead and bought 4 different styles at the same time to compare. ----------------------------------------- Here is a list of the 4 styles I purchased: -Natural Bamboo Yoga Pants Legging - Charcoal Small -Power Flex Yoga Pants - Black - Small -Power Flex Capri 22 Inch Black S -High Waist Power Flex Legging – Tummy Control - Black Small ----------------------------------------- BODY TYPE: I am 5'4 135 pounds, very pear shaped. I want my leggings to be multi-functional, meaning I want to be able to wear them around the house, around town, to work out, to hike, and under my ski clothes. ----------------------------------------- High Waist Power Flex Legging – Tummy Control - Black Small: These are AWESOME! Highly recommend! The length is a tad long, but the minor bunching at my ankles doesn't bother me one bit. The high waist is comforting on those days when you want a little extra help keeping everything in. Very comfortable and good compression, and stay tight all day. Absolutely buying another pair of these. ----------------------------------------- Natural Bamboo Yoga Pants Legging - Charcoal Small: These are the only pair from the 4 I purchased that I am returning, and also the most inexpensive. While the material is very soft and comfortable, it is mostly cotton, with not nearly enough "give" for my taste. They are also EXTREMELY long. If you are very tall and thin, go for these. I personally thought they were to snug around my calves, and way too long to look normal on me. ----------------------------------------- -Power Flex Yoga Pants - Black - Small: These are also great versatile leggings! I would say the waist is mid-rise, which is very flattering for me and most women.Length is the same on the high waisted, just a small bit of bunching at the bottom for me, but I don't mind it at all. Good compression, and stay tight all day. Definitely recommend! ----------------------------------------- Power Flex Capri 22 Inch Black S: These are the same ones I bought from T.J. Maxx, and they are the perfect capri length for me. I would say the waist is mid-rise too, which is very flattering for most women. Have good compression, but are still very comfortable! I love these in the summer too, since they are capris they look really cute with sandals.

Like a glove, they support the tummy!
100% Honest review here! (ordered large) I am a big lady okay, 5'10, 214lbs, all legs. The length is perfect for a tall woman, my ankles are finally covered! I would say if you are shorter these are going to be long on you, but you can always get them tailored if you want, no brand will ever make clothing that fits everyone's needs because we all are so unique! Anyways, here is how I tested these leggings, enjoy! Day 1-Arrival = Success I got the leggings out of the package, and already just holding them they are a thicker material, the color is black, they are soft, but not as soft as the "buttery soft leggings" that I have. They smell of an artificial peanut butter smell, very strange, right? I try them on and they fit like a glove, these leggings support my big ol tummy, and even suck it in a little bit! One thing I adored the most is that the waistband is thicker than the leggings, and it is a high waisted band, and I pulled these babies up all the way so as to not have any front saggage, and the band hits just perfect! Sometimes the bands on other brands are not high waisted enough so you get that whole "love handles sticking out from underneath the band" thing, but in these? The bottom of the band hits right below my love handles and covers them completely all the way to about my midback/a little over my belly button. THE PERFECT WAISTBAND YALL. The length was perfect, I honestly could have even sized down if I wanted them to be a little bit tighter but these fit perfectly, I was going to get an xl but I chose a large and I am so glad I did. Day 2- Working out = Success! I decided that these leggings needed to pass a workout, and see if they will need to be pulled up every few minutes. I did a full body workout, jumping jacks, plank, squat, you name it. I did not have to pull them up they stayed perfectly in place the whole time, even with jumping jacks and squats! Now, I do wear a thong with my leggings, if you are to wear like regular panties them you are gunna see the lines because leggings are skin tight, like you are gunna see the lines its just a rule of thumb in my opinion to wear a thong or go commando haha I got through a whole workout, no adjustments, the water wicking is amazing! my leggings wear not full of sweat at the end of the workout, but once you take them off all the sweat will be on your skin haha Day 3 = Lounging = Success.. but.. just a few things... I put these babies on to lounge around the house after work, I did some laundry, some dishes, played about 6 hours of video games and these were amazing! They are my go to now instead of sweatpants! I come home and can't wait to put them on! I tried all sorts of positions in my arm chair, and one of my favorites is to put my legs up on the arm of the chair and my back against the other side of the chair, and I did notice that the waist band was squeezing a little bit around my torso, and became uncomfortable. So if you like sitting in that position that might be an issue but I mean I think that's my own thing haha Day 4- To Work! - Success! I work in a casual business setting, I sell flooring in a small business. I decided ya know what I'm gunna wear these to work. Very comfy, I can put them with a black v neck shirt, with a blue Columbia softshell zip up jacket and I honestly feel pretty good! These leggings are not completely "squat proof" but you have to look pretty hard to see my buttcheeks through these. For standing or sitting down these are honestly really nice and you can dress these leggings up or down honestly. But they are more of a sporty look. OVERALL, buy them. Seriously you will NOT REGRET the decision. get the black first, but I plan on getting all the colors because these leggings really are a steal. You cannot beat the price.

Love them!
I love these pants already. They just came in today and I'm already obsessed. They got really nice and I love the high waist. They hold everything in place and are super comfortable. I'm going to love doing yoga and workout out in them. Also, if you're worried about them being see through, don't be. They are super thick yet super flexible. Now that I know they fit so good and are such good quality, I plan on buying more in different colors. Update: After wearing these for a couple of days, I've noticed a couple of things. For starters, these leggings attract everything, and by everything I mean hair, fuzz, you name it. I'll need a lint brush if I ever want to wear these out in public. Secondly, I'm afraid that they are going to get knots in them through use. Since I have thick thighs, my inner thighs rub together when I walk--no thigh gap for me unfortunately. Anyways, I just wish the fabric could have been a little less thick and a different material. Other than that, the fit is perfect and they freaking stay up and in place. Seriously, praise 90 Degree By Reflex for making a pair of leggings that I don't have to pull up constantly when doing yoga. And they are so flattering on my body. My booty pops in these leggings. But for $20 I would 10/10 recommend for sure! About sizing, I was concerned about sizing before I got them. But the size chart is pretty accurate. I am 5"4 and 150. I got a medium and they fit perfectly. It would be nice if they came in different lengths for us short people, as they are bunching up a bit at the ankles. That is the only critique I have so far!

Fair Price for Decent Leggings
I wrote a review for the lined version of these leggings. I had only purchased cotton leggings previously, so at first these seemed too thick. But after a few wears, I find them to be a nice thickness which provide comfortable support in most places. The exception, sadly, is the "control top" which could be more controlling. It appears to be just a separate swath of the same cloth (I know, this is how many "yoga" pants are made). The very fact that the tummy part is separately stitched across and is not a stronger fabric, (or even more fabric), actually causes my "pooch" stick out a bit MORE than I'd like (imagine a "shelving effect.") This seems like a silly oversight, at least to me. Apparently many other reviewers did not have this problem, so perhaps my pooch is an anomaly? They do seem to be a quality fabric and fairly well-made - except for the thread of one pair's inner thigh seam was pulled out a bit when I first put it on. I keep trimming it and it still is unravelling, but so far no major damage - keeping my fingers crossed. From the other reviews I think this is a hit or miss issue with this product. The length is a little long for me (I'm 5'4", 135 lbs) so I have to roll them under, which is not a big deal - something you get used to. It has a nifty little pocket built into the top of the waistband, something I didn't even notice until after first wash. Came out of wash and dryer just fine (remember to always turn all leggings inside-out before washing!) no shrinkage or any change. I don't use these for workouts and only wear them with longer shirts/sweaters, so I am not concerned if they are a bit see-thru if I squat, or whatever (kinda sad that women today even know what a "squat test" is - or feel the need to do one!). The price was fair, I thought, for an imperfect, but decent pair of leggings. Good luck!

Very comfortable fit for casual wear or light exercise - great value!
This is the third pair of this style legging from 90 Degree that I've bought, so I obviously like them. The fabric has been washing and wearing well and has held the color and shape (about 5-10 wearings for each pair so far), so I think they're a great value. I'm 50 yrs,160 lbs with a belly (working on that) but a defined waist with muscular thighs and a butt and I really like the fit of this legging. As other reviewers have noted, this are a great fit for strong, curvy bodies. I bought the large and I also wear a size L in Under Armour exercise leggings, so I think the sizing is accurate. They're tightly fitted top to bottom (a true legging) and hold their shape for the whole day. The material is super comfortable and stretchy, but not too shiny and there's no swishy nylon sound. I really love the waist design - flattering shaping, no muffin top, no rolling or sliding down - a perfect fit. The fabric is heavy enough to smooth a bit and underwear does not show through, but they're not super high-compression and they're easy to slip on. They look like exactly what they are - exercise leggings - not legging-style pants. If I wear them out for quick errands, I wear a long top and athletic shoes or uggs. For others this might not matter, but I wouldn't wear them in a situation not suitable for gym or yoga clothes. To each her own. The full length style is too long on me, but I have short legs, so nothing new there, and I don't find it a problem because the material is lightweight. The extra length covers the gap between my ankle and no-show socks, which is welcome on colder days. When it's warmer, I wear the capri version of these pants instead - same fabric and fit in the waist, but low-calf length. I still prefer my Under Armour Heat Gear capri leggings for sweaty, high-intensity workouts or extended treadmill walking, but I love these leggings for activities like casual walking, stretching and active around-the-house days.

Quality got worse
I used to love these leggings. I had a bunch of them. Unfortunately the quality has gone waaaay down. The material feels slippery and like bad synthetic, instead of a soft blend like they used to. And the waistband rolls any time I bend.

Nine year update on my favorite leggings
A Must-Have for Everyone—Especially Moms! And These leggings are an absolute game-changer! They’re perfect for holding in the mom belly, offering incredible stretch and comfort. The fabric is durable, and even after nine years of regular wear, they’re still in amazing condition—no fading, no dinginess, and just a tiny hole from my sharp nails (totally my fault). I’m typically a medium, but I sized down to a small for a snug fit, and they’re still incredibly comfy. They’re not see-through at all, and they’re tall-girl friendly too! If you’re on the fence about these, don’t be. I’ve reordered them in multiple colors over the years, and they never disappoint!

Quality leggings, great buy
Great buy by a reputable brand! NO skinny elastic band around the waist sewn in (but they still stay up with out slipping down!) and NO ankle gapping! Ordered burgundy - color is just a little darker than anticipated but still a lovely, rich color. Fabric is ever so slightly thinner than a pair of 90 Degree leggings bought 5+years ago that I still have, however, these seem more temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking (my old pair made me feel hot unless it was a cool/cold day or very windy). Stretch is fantastic, not see through. Ordered a M but I probably could have gotten away with a S for compression-type fit. M fits great for yoga/Pilates or for leisure activities or running errands. (Waist is a tad loose on me.) I’m 5’7”, 133 lbs., 27.5-28” waist, 37.5-38” hips, typically a 33” inseam (for jeans, as an example). Pant waist rises a couple of inches above belly button and pant stops about an inch above the ankle on my body; there are no weird wrinkles or sags around the crotch area. Waist rise is just a tad short to wear a cropped top with unless you don’t mind skin showing. (I think for matching with cropped tops, the pant waist should be 1-2” higher and contoured inward so that it can accentuate the smallest part of the natural waist better. This may only be a personal requirement, however, as I have some loose belly skin and weak abdominal muscles from pregnancies.) Pants are cut with a contour-fit around knees and calves, meaning they aren’t straight legs like cigarette pants, they are cut to curve around the contours of your lower legs. This helps to reduce ankle gapping nicely. (No loose/baggy ankle for here!) Pants arrived sooner than expected too! These are a must-buy.

Uncomfortable waistline
Nice quality but VERY uncomfortable waistline. People say “comparable to lululemon” but definitely not in the comfort aspect. Material is similar though.

Super Hose
