Great grill easy to use.
I love this grill! It cooks, cleans easily, and works well. I understand why everyone speaks so highly of this product. We purchased for a camping trip as I don’t like cooking meats, most foods in my rv. Had excellent instructions to set up and use. Heated well, stores in the bottom of our rv, heavy enough to be durable, but not too heavy to be portable. However you need to purchase the “seasoning” product so it doesn’t rust when stored. I also purchased a 7 FT RV Propane Quick Connect Hose to Grill, BBQ Quick Release LP Gas Line for Camp Chef Stove, Pit B for this to be hooked to our camper gas line. Now I know why so many people rave about this product.

Great griddle that lives up to its reputation
This 17" Blackstone griddle with a hood works just as well as most of the YT videos say the larger Blackstones work, and I'm enjoying cooking on it. During seasoning the main area got to about 600 degrees so it gets hot enough for any cooking use. The corners don't get quite as hot of course. After seasoning it is nonstick and easy to clean while still hot using a scraper or heavy spatula and a squirt of water. It's much more versatile than a grill and it cooks very well using low to medium heat for most things. There are lots of helpful videos on how to use these griddles. Unlike some brands, the owners manual says the attached hood can be used for cooking for up to 10 minutes. It also helps protect the griddle surface when it's not in use so I'm glad I got the version with a hood. Also use a thin coat of cooking oil if it's not going to be used again for awhile to prevent rust. This one-burner griddle is probably large enough for two to maybe four people for most things. It's not tiny.. I used up one 1-lb bottle of propane when thoroughly seasoning the griddle so buy at least two to start. (I burned off any factory coating, then used canola oil and applied four thin layers of seasoning burning off each for about 15-20 minutes, which took close to two hours total on high. You will need tongs and paper towels.) After that, one bottle lasts through several meals depending on how long it's on and the heat setting. You could also buy the Blackstone hose with low pressure valve and use a larger propane tank if you don't mind a heavy tank. Edit to add: My son gave me a little refillable 5-lb propane tank which lasts much longer, seemingly longer than five of the 1-lb ones and I love it. I now also have a 10-lb second tank. I get these filled at my hardware store and like them much better than the 1-lb disposables.. (I can't lift a full regular 25-lb tank.) I use this griddle more often than I thought I would. I especially love it for smashburgers. Re the size: This "little" griddle with hood is larger and much heavier than I expected but it could be used when camping. Mine stays on an 18" x 30" stainless steel worktable at home, with an additional generic rain cover that covers it and the table. The body of the griddle overhangs the table just slightly front to back, but the feet of the griddle easily sit on the 18" deep table. (The feet could sit on a 12" (front to back) surface but there would be a lot of overhang of the rest of the griddle both front and back.) With a propane bottle attached the table has a little space left for a spatula and small dish at the side, and a lower shelf and wheels. I only needed and wanted a small griddle and some workspace for a small area. (I liked this table better than the 17" griddle model that comes with a Blackstone "cart.") Very happy with the purchase. The 5-pc utensil kit (large spatulas, scraper, squeeze bottles for oil and water) and the disposable foil grease cup liners are also useful.

Perfect for Camping – Ideal Size for Our Family of Three!
We love our Blackstone 17” griddle! It’s the perfect size to take camping, and it’s just right for cooking meals for our family of three. This little griddle heats up evenly, making it super easy to whip up breakfast, lunch, or dinner while on the road. The key to keeping it in great shape is giving it a good seasoning right out of the box. We followed the standard pre-seasoning steps, and now the food cooks beautifully with no sticking. Clean-up is a breeze too – a quick scrape, a wipe-down, and it’s ready for next time. If you're planning to leave it outside, a cover is a must to keep it protected. We also got a carry bag, which makes it even easier to pack up with the rest of our camping gear. It’s sturdy, portable, and has made our camping trips that much better. Highly recommend this griddle for anyone looking for a compact, reliable outdoor cooking option!

Amazing grill!
Amazing grill! Husband hasn't stopped using it since we got it. This thing cooks everything and anything! Grill cheese sandwiches have never been so good. It's heavy but still portable, the lid also makes for a nice wind block. Heat is evenly distributed, very easy to use, and not too awfully hard to set up. Putting it together is super easy but getting it seasoned took some time, no big deal. Very well made and will last a long time.

BLACKSTONE LOVER!!!
I am a very BIG FAN of the Blackstone Grill. I talk about it all the time. MANY, MANY friends have bought one after me talking about it! I prefer to cook outside in all weather, great cook and house does not smell! Listen, no better steak, chicken, frankly any meat! But my absolute favorites, hamburgers, grill cheese, quesadillas, strut fry. Perfect consistency!! I have the large version, however my sister was not buying my hype, so bought her this one. She did not even hook it up, however my brother in law did, Loves it! Gave small one to son and they both use basically every day! Do not have a Blackstone, well hurry up and get one. Had mine for 4 years and no longer use my BBQ!

Almost perfect
Love it . Only issue is igniter never works I need a lighter. Burners are easy to get to so I deal with it. The grill itself has some cold spots as do all griddles. Learn where they are and you’ll be fine. It’s a solid cook surface cleans instantly. Follow instructions to season it and I was amazed at how STICK FREE it is. It’s amazing I love it. Perfect size for 2 who love to cook. Breakfast, burgers and stir fry dinners are a breeze and come out great!

I love my blackstone griddle!!
Everything came well packaged and easy to put together. The video is showing me curing my blackstone. Did the process about 4 times. I’ll be making breakfast tomorrow morning on it.
