Hi, I am not sure what you actually mean but this could be could be soldered.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?

Hi thanks for your question to start with this make of cable especially the 12 AWG wire makes a hell of a difference to the quality of the sound of you are using normal standard wire, not sure if this particular wire I used is suitable for outdoors but I did look on the GEARIT Makers website and do remember seeing wire on their site specifically for outdoor use. The 12AWG cable is fairly thick strands on the ends and fitted my Denon Amp and B&W Speakers but converted all ends to Banana Plugs which the wire fits in nice and held in place with two small screws then a screw on end really tidy job with a great sound, top tip though leave plastic on the roll find end of cable and pull cable from roll as you go along each length otherwise you will end up with cable and knots everywhere and lots of naughty words 🙀😇😂
