The mounting bracket w/ this device is for an Orion focuser w/ a square plate. Not compatible.So I put a 10" pipe clamp around the end of the scope just behind the rim, and use that to hold the smaller/simpler of the two loose brackets that come with this item. I lined the inside of the pipe clamp w/ sticky felt so it won't scratch my scope. The silver thing that slides over the regular-speed focus shaft is a little too tight so it needs to be expanded slightly w/ a drill bit. It's very solid and it works. I don't expect any troubles.Yes the fast-slow control on these are wired backwards. Make a new sticker if it bothers you so much. ### ⭐ Quality Issues - did not work twice in a row *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2020* Quality issues. The product did not work, so they sent me a replacement which also did not work. I am getting a refund. In both cases, the speed knob was connected backward (fast setting causes slow motion, slow setting causes fast motion). On the first unit, one of the buttons would get jammed so that it was stuck on. On the second unit, the motor would only spin in one direction.
