You really can’t compare the quality of RH dolls to any others. They’re sturdy, durable, and very cute! Their eyelashes are rooted, and her eyes are glossy and made of plastic. All RH dolls come with two outfits and two pairs of shoes, which you can mix and match for a new look. If/when you take her out of the box, her hair needs to be washed, preferably with dish soap, or fabric softener, both in hot water and brushing through it multiple times to de-tangle it. (I used a little bit of dish soap mixed with a few drops of lavender oil to make her hair smell good and I used scissors to cut of some of the super long strands of hair that got pulled out slightly by the comb). The glue comes out easily, it only took me two washes, and the second wash was just to remove the glue smell from her head. Speaking about her head, before washing her hair, you need to remove her beanie, which is pinned down on both sides of her head and the back. If this is a gift for a child, I recommend that a parent does this for them, as the beanie is really pinned down. Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones that didn’t get a defective doll. I think the only defect on mine is a little paint smudge on one of the shoes, but honestly, that just means my doll is unique haha. If you’re going to get this doll as a gift, I suggest you go to Target or Walmart so you can really make sure your RH doll is in perfect condition.

I love her! She is gorgeous. I mainly just bought her because I want to start collecting the whole Rainbow High Collection. Her hair is amazingly soft and very full and long. I washed and conditioned mine because I didn’t really care for the gel in her hair. Other than that she is the best purchase I’ve ever made. Will definitely be getting the rest of Rainbow High dolls and I recommend them to anyone who likes to collect dolls or if you have children who love dolls, they will love this. AND they have a YouTube short series.

I'm a doll collector so I care about quality when it comes to the dolls I buy and Jade has actually been on my list for a while so of course, I got her. Her makeup is light and natural, so if you're a parent who cares about that sort of thing then this doll is right up your alley. She has articulation in her knees, elbows, shoulders, wrists, neck (can't move up, down, and side to side, but can turn all the way around), thighs, and hips. She's perfect for kids who want a doll they can move around and collectors who want a doll they can pose effortlessly. My only issue is that her hip joints are a bit loose but not nearly as bad as other dolls I've gotten from other lines. Her hair is crunchy and hard right out of the box but with a bit of combing the gel comes right out to reveal soft, long, and beautiful hair. I love this doll and all the other Rainbow High dolls I've gotten, so I'll definitely be buying more!

I loved this doll. As a kid, I had to grow up pretty fast and I didn't get enough time with my dolls. So I decided to pick up her and Sunny because they were the two of the rainbow high dolls to stick out to me. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Jade is just a wondeful doll. Her hair is thick and luscious and so fun to brush, the details on the face are just beautiful, and the clothes feel amazingly quality. There are a few gripes I have, though. The hat is the main one: if you take her beanie off, it is not going back on. Not the way it came originally anyway. No, it was attached and I removed it so I could brush her hair. Imagine my disappointment when I realized it wouldnt go back on the same way. It'll fit, but it wont be as cute and stylish. And then theres the packaging. In one word: gorgeous. In another: destroyed. Seriously. I had to tear apart this gorgeous packaging just to get to her. Extremely disappointing as I would have liked to retain it but oh well. I didnt get her for the packaging. Some shedding occurs when brushing her hair but any doll will do that. The synthetic hair feels great. I was worried about the doll smelling of that awful plastic-y synthetic smell many toys have, but mine actually smelled rather nice. The limbs feel thick and move very freely. The only places that arent jointed and moveable are her hips and ankles. Other than that, wonderful. Overall an excellent doll. Great for collectors. I think I would have loved to have her as a kid too. Well worth the price.

In promo images this first wave dolls look awful. I was surprised how good she looks in person. The face pearlescent shine is not that noticeable and the nude makeup works. She has surprisingly little hair gel and I got the second printing version with the head movement. Her outfit is very detailed. It was also surprising to find a series 1 doll in 2024 at the original retail price.

My Jade doll had zero flaws, but mga is experiencing issues with quality control lately due to covid so be patient with them. Her outfits are gorgeous and her hair is so soft. Out of all the dolls, her clothes are the easiest to remove and put on. This makes her the most suitable doll in the line for younger kids, in my opinion. All of them are high quality, especially for the price.

I have 5 of these dolls an the quality on all of them is astounding! Real zippers, drawstrings, buckles, and pockets! Beware of the hair though, these dolls have tons of gel in their hair and it makes the dolls hair really stiff and crunchy, luckily the gel can be taken care of with a simple boil wash or hot water dish soap!

I was originally only going to buy one of them because I really liked how they looked. After getting my first one which was Ruby Anderson, I absolutely fell in love with these dolls so I literally bought all of them which is crazy. I wasn't originally going to do this because they are quite expensive but I think they are completely worth the money. I even bought the Amaya and the Avery play sets too and they are absolutely stunning. The only thing I don't like about these dolls is when you unbox them, they have so much product in their hair which makes it feel crunchy and weird. The description does say that you have to wash their hair to get the product out and I'd suggest definitely do that because it makes a HUGE difference. The hair is so beautiful and soft when you wash it. When series 2 comes out to the UK, you bet that I'll get all the dolls in series 2, too. I am obsessed.
