A: No,the liquid tests for the ph level in water from acid to alkaline.

**Q: How long will the color remain in the water? Will it fade away right away? It's for a science fair.**
A: It does not fade right away, but I’ve not timed it long enough since I throw the solution out as soon as it changes to the color that it should be.
