Really nice small knife.
Great quality and I love the CV steel blades. A little smaller than I thought. But it's a good knife.

sloppy etching on blade
The etching on the blade was blotchy you can tell it was done chemically, not mechanically. It does not look clean like in the picture.

Old Reliable
I bought this recently to replace the same model I had carried for years (I'm 71) but somehow managed to loose. About 25 or 30 years ago I got an Old Town canoe for fishing and when I saw this canoe knife I thought it would be cool to have a knife designed like a canoe. Previously I had carried pen knives, fishing knives, mini stockmans, and various others, but since then I have carried nothing but canoes. In the interval I have owned a number of other canoe knives from Case, Hen & Rooster, Boker, and Bulldog. Some of them were really beautiful but I ended up giving them all away to my kids and grand-kids; I kept this model Case until I finally lost it. So I guess I can safely say, this is my favorite knife

Great steel, great action, great, classic everyday knife.

Nice looking but not well finished
Beautiful with nice walk and talk. On first glance it’s a 5 star Case knife. Unfortunately after opening and closing both blades a handful of times I noticed scratches on both blades. Not having cut anything I guessed correctly that the blade that was being opened and closed was rubbing against the other closed blade causing scratching to both.
