The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation

Wonderful and gets the job done.

Product was in great shape. Good packaging. Book looks practically new. Some minor scuffs but nothing that effects the book in anyway. Will be purchasing more books from you :)

Came in the promised time frame. Great to have a hard copy. I also have the digital version but like having the option of the hard copy.

I’m picking up good citation! Bluebook’s giving documentation. Bluebook means good citation! Whether to study as part of your J.D., paralegal, or legal secretary program, or as a ready-reference guide in your everyday law practice, the Bluebook has become ubiquitous as a “uniform system of citation.” But in my experience, while California and its Judicial Council claim to be agnostic between Bluebook and its own “California Style Manual,” I disagree: go for the latter every time. it looks better and judges like what they themselves favor. It’s a truism which simply tends to be true. A tautology, perhaps? I won’t second-guess it.

Good book for school

The title is a new edition ... and that is the only problem with it. Why does it require a new edition every few years? Except for the publisher to make more money by having everybody buy it? This is my third writing style I am learning, and the book is helpful to find correct citation and writing formats. It has cross-references, a good index and summary. Overall very recommended - just look for a new edition in a few years.

I am a law student who uses the Bluebook more than a Christian uses the Bible. So I was eager to get the 21st edition when it was released, but I was reluctant about paying more for another Bluebook. I am here to say it is WORTH IT. The 21st edition is better-bound and takes up less space (mostly by removing the T2 Foreign Jurisdictions online) than the 20th edition, plus it makes changes to 13 rules in the book such as allowing cites to online state statutes instead of preferring print and providing how a specific time point in a video can be cited. I highly recommend! (And this is a great seller to get it from––very responsive and helpful should issues with the book arise.)

版が変わるたびに購入していますが、今回は購入が少し遅れました。内容は期待通りです。

Kindle版は全く使い物にならない。サンプルで確認できるとおり、各ページの一部を中途半端にスキャンしたものが９０度傾いた状態で収録されている。インデックス等は一切設定されていない。延々と下手なスキャン画像が続く。これほどひどい電子版書籍を購入したのは初めてだ。完全な欠陥品です。
