This solid copper stew pot is beefy, enormous and beautiful. Its excellent heat transference allows browning with extreme control. It is equal parts art and cookware. It now sits in a place of honor in my kitchen between uses.

I love all De Buyer copper pans. I chose De Buyer for the price point. 2mm thick copper is plenty for my home cooking needs, but thick enough to really enjoy the benefits of copper. This is my fifth purchase now and I can tell you that cooking with these pans and pots is a dream. No hot spots, no burned food. Follow the instructions and you’ll see how easy it is. Cleanup is easy. I hand wash the pots (but I do so with every pot). I allowed the patina to come through and they are as gorgeous as useful. They are worth every penny and make for a great investment.
