Schwarzkopf Color Ultime Permanent Hair Color Cream, 8.4 Light Copper Red

I am a 69 years young natural strawberry blonde who doesn’t want to go silver just yet! This is my go to summer look with a shade darker in winter…always getting compliments!

I was at a meeting, and I met a gal with this beautiful red hair, after talking a while I told her I loved her hair, great color. She told me about Schwarzkopf. Said she's been using for years. Well, I'd been bored with my 3 colors on my head. Gray(at the roots) brunette with blond highlights. for many years. Well I'm happy to say I'm now a red head, and even my son gave me a nice complement without asking. I love this color, Don't be afraid to try something different. It leaves your hair silky, smooth and soft. I feel sexy and 10 years younger. I'm a senior. Go for it girl!

I can only get this color on Amazon and only when it's available! That stinks because I ve been using this color in my hairs for years and with my color it fades so well! Looking good for months. So disappointed in can only get it every once in awhile! That's the only reason why I gave it 4 stars.

Found on Amazon! I really really wanted to find this exact color, searched online in the stores near me, no one has it and I settled for the nearest color to this. I took it home and decided that it was the wrong shade of red for me. I wanted to color my hair immediately! So I returned that one and was glad to find out that Amazon had next day delivery for this item. Result is the quality of a salon color, it has a color boost, a conditioner that makes it healthy and shiny. The formula doesn't have the fumes like some haircolor does. I will order it again definitely.

Transitioning from a light brown base, I was a tad nervous about the outcome, especially with my hair's penchant for pulling orange or copper tones. But the results? Absolutely smitten! True to colors and great variety of colors I love the it makes my hair feel soft and not dry like the rest of the hair color.

Okay— I’ve been a natural redhead my entire life. It’s the one thing that really made me feel special and unique. That said, at age 35 my vibrant auburn color began to fade. At age 41 It’s now looking like straw (first photo). No vibrancy, some gold highlights, but the deep red color completely faded out. So sad! My 6 year old daughter has the natural red that I used to have before it started fading. Added the photo of her hair too. Enter the Chocolate copper color. Thought it looked pretty close to what I had before the “fade,” WTH I thought I’d give it a try. Admittedly, I should have left it on a little longer than I did, but I was scared that it would be too dark. It did add some more color back onto the red. My main worry is going too dark that I lose all the gold highlights, or end up more magenta (like some reds do.) I wanted natural redhead red. To look like myself again. While it didn’t deposit as much red as I would hope, I think I’ll give the color one more try and leave it on longer. I have very thick long hair, so I used two full bottles to cover it all. I’ll update this review when I try it a second time. If you’re a natural ginger, this may be a good place to start. To be continued.....

I actually used Velvet Brown but I purchased macadamia brown but I was able to find it at CVS, nevertheless I’ve used the ULTIME box colors in VINTAGE RED, MAHOGANY RED, and now in VELVET BROWN. These are some of the best colors I’ve ever used the reds last long and are vibrant even on medium brown hair which mine is with gray at the temples, covers very very well. I wanted to go back brunette so I bought macadamia but with the shipping being so long because of covid I bit the bullet and went to CVS and got velvet brown and I love velvet brown, when I used it over the vintage red obviously it’s a bit more reddish than usual but the color is beautiful and a perfect chocolate warm brown and I just really enjoy using these colors. I always check to see if it recommends for gray hair if it doesn’t I wouldn’t use it on my grays, this one did an awesome job and it’s a real brown not black but of course it all depends on your starting color and if it’s already colored etc. always start at roots and then at the end add to your ends it never fails to work for me.

The dye on your hair fades soon. It lasts just around 10 days and you have to renew it.

took a chance with this brand, never again! the colour turned out horrible and my hair extremely dry. The worst hair dye I have ever used. I purchased 2 different colours from this brand and both were terrible.

I followed instructions and got no results. I have used this brand in past and it has been good but this particular dye was ineffective Anda waste of money.
