This cooler has been perfect for taking snacks to the ball fields. The ice remains cold for days.

Bought it for a trip to the Gulf with family friends. We needed to pack in all our food so we needed something pretty large to get everything down there and keep it cool for the 8 hour trip in the blazing Southern Summer heat in the back of the truck. Loaded it up with some ice packs the night before to cool it, which i think is key. Packed it to the gills with food and a bag and a half of ice. Got to the beach house and everything was ice cold. Unpacked it and loaded it up with ice and left it on the back deck (which got just baked by the sun all day with 98 degree sun). Used at as our ice station for drinks all week. When it was time to leave there was still ice in it. there was plenty of water as well, but enough ice to fill a couple yeti tumblers for the drive home. We had some food in the freezer that we needed to pack back and bought some fish from the local fish monger on they way out along with some crawfish boudin (also legit) two big bags of ice and 9 hours later we're home and the frozen foods were frozen solid.Long story short it is a great cooler for about $100 less than other roto-molded coolers of the same size. My buddy had the same size cooler that was left inside and I would say the Kenai out performed it, which I pointed out to him numerous times over the course of the week. Now I don't hunt bears in the Yukon or go on week long fishing excursions, so we had no issues with the latches which seems to be the biggest gripe. They were snug enough to keep it shut tight but easy enough for my three year old to open up. No complaints.

I bought this cooler to haul groceries and beer back and forth to our boat which is located 3 hours away - not harvesting elk meat in the Yukon backcountry. So far, it has done exactly what it needs to do as a medium duty cooler. Ice retention is great, even getting roasted in the back of a truck topper. We have several YETI coolers and the Kenai seems to be as good or better at keeping its contents cold. The only improvement would be a sturdier latch system. It's almost too easy to open and close but certainly not a deal breaker.Kenai still deserves 5 stars for carving out a section of the crowded cooler market to fill this void at a reasonable cost. Kenai is made by Grizzly in the United States of America - that alone is enough to make me forget about the competitors who manufacture their product in China or the Philippines.

I Like Everything about The Kenai. We will use it for Travel, Camping, Tailgates and many other things.I definitely would like to get The Grizzly Icedivider that would be compatible with The 65 Qt. Kanai Cooler. The 75 Qt. is just to Big and I will be returning it. Thank you very much, Bob Sharp

Very durable, watched several comparisons with the big brand yeti coolers, does the exact same job for half the price. Holds ice for quite a while, and if you follow cooler/ice instructions, ice can last for several days. After ice is gone, products inside cooler still stay very cold for at least a few days, if kept indoors. For outdoors, take away a day or so. Product came assembled and ready to use, they design the latches to be easy to detach, but makes a good and proper seal all the way around, that was my once concern, I was worried for nothing. I recommend this product and other kenai products for once in a while use and the everyday/every week usage.

Used for lobster season in the Keys. My husband was impressed with how well and long it kept ice. We iced up before driving 4 hours down and the next day it was still 3 quarters full in the Florida heat.

I bought this cooler after doing a lot of research and I am so glad I did!! I needed it for a weekend camping trip where ice would not be available. It was quite primitive where I went. The ice held for several days!! I was so pleased with how well it kept my ice that I can’t say enough. Couple of pointers, 1) make sure you cool the cooler before adding your food, drinks, etc. 2) keep the cooler in the shade (if possible) 3) make sure to latch the top so it has a good grip..This was the best purchase and plus it’s cheaper than a Yeti and it’s made in the USA!!!

This cooler is made like a rock and weighs like a rock… not a light cooler! U get what u pay for! The ice keeps cold for about 3 days as long as you don’t keep opening it! But if u do, the ice is melted but it’s still cold! The color is awesome! Would highly recommend!
