Quick Strike Mole & Gopher Gasser, 4-Pk.

Highly recommend! This product worked great for the rats in our barn. Basically like a road flare, remove the cap and strike it and put it down into the hole, then cover the hole with a rock or board. I think it would kill babies in a nest, but don't count on it to fully kill adolescents and adults. It smoked them out and we stood nearby and clobbered them with a shovel as they burrowed out of a different hole. The sulfur odor is about the same as a stink bomb, we did it in an open barn and we could smell it but it wasn't a problem to be in the area.

OK, I didn’t use this for its distinct purpose and actually I had a problem with yellow jackets that had made nest down in the ground. I sprayed them so many times with guaranteed to kill a yellow jackets in seconds all that marketing yellow jackets just drank the spray I used on them and got up and blew into my face. It didn’t stop them very well. So I had used these flare type of gas bombs before. This particular one was easy to strike and get it going and I just waited for the yellow jackets to calm down and shove it down their hole because I could not kill them and this probably had 1000 in there. Well, they didn’t survive that attack. The smoke filled into their home and finally took them out. You just have to be careful to do it quickly and get out of there, but it did work not for what it was intended for but regardless.

This is the best of the "smoke bomb" type products. They put out a lot more smoke than the ones from another company - and those with an external fuse that must be lit with a flame. The built-in strike-to-light feature in these ones is a big convenience. I have probably a 15% success rate with these and 0% success rate with the other kind. (The best success rate I've had with any product, including traps, is maybe 30%.) They're are a little pricey, but worth it.

The quick strike lights very easy! I really like that. No fumbling with a separate fuse and getting it lit. Not 5 stars because the smoke does not seem as potent as other gassers.

Very expensive and ineffective. Dealing with moles is under monopoly of this company but none of their products actually work

Only used once but it produces a lot of smoke. It can be challenging finding runs that wail not collapse

Tried a lot of other similar products but this is the only one that actually got rid of the mole
