Review: Sturdy, works great and easy to install! - I didn't expect much for $14, but this is a great replacement for a Lay-Z-Boy 2012 reclining loveseat. I bought a plastic one a couple of years ago and it was very difficult to get it installed correctly. This one was designed to perfectly fit and took less than 10 minutes to switch out. I hardly ever write reviews, but this is a very good product and will probably last longer than the loveseat. Now the question is why does Lay-Z-Boy use such garbage plastic pulls on their relatively expensive furniture?

I was just happy to find a replacement. When it arrived, I was shocked at the weight of it. This thing is HEAVY DUTY metal, a far better handle than the cheap plastic one it was replacing. It was dead simple to replace using only a screwdriver and my trusty Leatherman. It fit perfectly and looks great. Now with this handle, I am certain the chair is going to get worn out and replaced before I ever have to replace this handle.

This metal release handle replaced an original plastic one. My cable end was actually smaller than the original cable end, but the item description states this will fit 6mm and smaller. Works as it should. Good fit, good quality.
