Useful low voltage wire
Transparent thin and flexible, used by me to extend battery Christmas wiring indoors. Suits low voltage low current applications. Blends quite well with decor. The conductors are thin and easily snap under tension when stripping the insulation. However, it’s not a problem if you take care.

Good quality for low power job - LED 9V lights
I needed to add a length of cable from an LED star at the top of a 4m christmas tree to near the bottom of said tree. So it was a case of cutting the original short cable and soldering in a length of this cable. It was easy enough to strip the plastic and solder the cables together. The plastic seemed to be as you'd expect when soldering - shrivelled a small amout as cables of this type do. All in all perfect for my application.

Thin wire but works for a few fairy lights
The wire inside is really thin!! It's makes it hard to strip but you've got 10m to ruin!! Works fine for a few fairy lights though so can't complain for the price. The wire on left is ikea fairy light wire and the thin plastic coated wire on right is this wire.

Not fit for purpose and potentially dangerous.d
3amp cable for UK table lamps etc. is specified as a minimum 0.5mm cross section. This cable is labelled as 28AWG which is only 0.3mm and I’m dubious it’s actually that thick. Also the protective cover is far too thin and should ideally consist of not only the individual cables being insulated but then an outer sheath for added protection from accidental damage. In short this cable doesn’t meet the requirements at all and is unsafe for its intended use. In addition the CE mark on the packaging is the wrong typeface, so it is actually illegal for sale in the UK. Why do Amazon allow such rubbish on their site? 1 star is generous but I can’t score 0. Needless to say they’ll be getting it back.
