The Staleks 20/2 PE Cuticle Pusher is very helpful for pedicures however, the tool is sharper than I thought it would be. It feels quite scratchy when using across the surface of the nail as well. Just be mindful when using it so you can avoid cuts.

This curette is amazing, it does not poke because it's not sharp ended, yet goes right under the edges of a toe nail. I have used other tools for ingrown nails, but this is the best one yet. Would highly recommend this for home users, like me.

I bought this tool after I watched a YouTube video that said it’s a great professional tool to have. The shape and size of the “hook”/pusher on each end of the tool is exactly the same, except one end is curved for right-handed use and the other is curved for left-handed use. The hooks/pushers are not sharp. In fact, they’re dull/blunt. It’s a nice tool for gently pushing back the skin fold. Please note that the skin fold is not the same thing as the cuticle. This tool is not sharp or thin enough to scrape cuticles off the nails during a “dry” pedicure or manicure. You’d have to use a cuticle remover liquid, if you want to use this tool to scrape/remove cuticles. If you’d like to see a great video that demonstrates multiple uses for this tool by a professional nail technician, see the YouTube video titled “A pedicurist does her own DIY pedicure at home,” by “The Salon Life.” I have found that this tool can also be used to place and press down semi-cured gel nail strips before setting them with a UV lamp. Overall, it’s a great tool and I recommend it.
