My daughter has a mitochondrial disorder. I love that this brand has no added fillers or other unnecessary ingredients. Since CoQ10 is fat soluble and she's not old enough to swallow a capsule, I empty the capsule into a large scoop of ice cream and mix it in. She doesn't give me any kind of issues about taking it. She's been taking it for a little over three months and has shown a drastic improvement. I'm sure it wouldn't be the same results for someone without a mitochondrial disorder, but I can say that it definitely is the real thing and good quality for me to see such improvement. She's 4 years old and loves to be active but her body wouldn't cooperate and she would tire very quickly before she started the CoQ10. After about a week of being on the CoQ10 she has so much more stamina. Her legs used to give out on her and she'd start falling down after running around for a while. That doesn't happen anymore. It used to take all of her strength to jump just a few inches with both feet. Now she can jump about 21 inches. As I said, the difference is amazing and I'm so happy to see her able to run around like a kid her age should. The Pure Encapsulations is a little expensive but absolutely worth it. I am very happy with the quality of the product and the results we've seen.

I have issues with energy, and CoQ10 seem to help a lot. 30 mg CoQ10 from Thorne gets me back to normal. 30 mg CoQ from Pure does nothing.

I haven't been buying it for the last few years. I am not sure who owns the company now because it changed hands few times but back few years ago it was good consistent product.
