Purchased for a WWII guru young boy. Instructions were a little different from legos that he is used to but with a little guidance he had this assembled in no time. Quality and appearance are spot on

My son keeps going on and on about how much he loves this Christmas gift! He was intrigued by the era and he is currently in an Aerospace Academy, so he is learning about building airplanes in the real world. He was so excited that he sat down and immediately got to work. He was amazed at the amount of detail and workmanship that went into the pieces and couldn’t wait to finish. He loved all the moving parts and the SIZE of the finished product! He has built many Lego structures and models, and even some metal models, but this is now his favorite build and is now scouting out a place for it (hanging from the ceiling). I was a little skeptical because it wasn’t a Lego build, but he said that Lego does NOT have any kind of war or weapon builds - which is unfortunate because his father and I are both Marines. He has an eye on some tanks, now, and since his birthday is in March, he will absolutely be getting them (and many others) for his growing collection!

Really fun and the flaps of the plane flip up and down when you spin the little knob.

My 10 year old grandson absolutely loves Legos, although this isn't a "lego" brand, it is compatible. I ordered it for his birthday, after I ordered I noticed it said for ages 15 and up. So I was a bit worried it would be too hard for him. But to my surprise he had it put together within about 2 hours!! I highly recommend this product for the lego lover in your life!!❤️

I bought this for my 11 yr old for Christmas, as he’s been a fan of Legos for years and has really been into WW2 history and planes this year. Lego doesn’t have anything in that genre/theme, so I bought this brand for the first time. He was so excited to get it and had it built in no time. This was my first time buying a non-Lego brand and we were completely impressed with the quality of the product and the instruction manual is just like that of the brand name also. The box said it does not come with minifigs, but there was in fact 5 soldiers in it. It’s a good size completed plane as well. He was thrilled! We’ll buy again for sure!

I have always been wary of other building block sets, but I really wanted a JU-88, so I took the plunge with this one. This is definitely on par with Lego. Clear instructions, pieces fit well, and the decals are very realistic. The minifigs are great and come three parts trees full of weapons and kit, which are all accurate. There are Lugers, broomhandle Mausers, an MP-40, K98 rifles and even an STG44! I enjoyed building this set and will definitely be buying more General Jim’s sets in the future.

Purchased for a gift for my nephew. He is 9 and was so excited.
