**Q: What are they made of?**
A: Yes the middle is silicone, but the handles are hard plastic

**Q: Does this easily hold a pound of pasta?**
A: Yes it does! I love it so much.

**Q: is this a 2 pack, or just 1 piece? (the picture shows 2)**
A: It is a very nice one piece pack that works very well.  The picture shows it as collapsed and expanded.  Not as two pieces.

**Q: Can you use this to strain grease out of cooked ground hamburger?**
A: If you use it for this make sure it is warm to cool. Also I believe the holes are to large for ground beef.
