Every shop needs this.
I bought this for my shop to use because we could not wait for the tool trucks to order us one. I was very skeptical to try this but, my techs LOVE this tool set. If you are a shop Manager, foreperson, technician buy this tool if you are doing timing chain repairs. Do not buy the kit from the tool trucks and spend triple the cost this works perfectly.

Material make up isn't there. After using it once the pin that pushes the link pins out was deformed (soft metal) definitely not hardened like it needs to be. The crimp die is just as equal quality junk had to file it down mulitoe times to crimp 2 links in total give it 3 starts cheap priced, super fast shipping. Just needs to be hardened and would be a great set

Timing chain replacement made easy
The kit works great! Used it on a Mercedes-Benz M271 engine to replace the timing chain. Didn't have any fitment issues and made the job easy. The quality of the pieces is just like the factory tools.

Ich habe damit die Simplexkette des OM651 am eingebauten Motor gewechselt. Entnietung tadellos. Druckstück und Kettenführung zum Nieten passen gut. Ein Montageglied für Simplexketten ist im Satz nicht enthalten; aber wenn man an der richtigen Stelle entnietet, muss man nur einen Stift entfernen und kann dann die neue Kette beim OM651 Motor mit einer M4*16 Schraube + Mutter an der alten befestigen und durchziehen.

Worked great on C230 1.8L Kompressor
This kit worked great replacing my timing chain. The tool included to pop the rivet out of the link was smooth, a bit soft but it's all about aligning properly and patiently. The tool included used to rivet the new link on and indent the pins so they don't pop out worked great. The only thing this kit was missing is the temporary clip (new chain to old chain) for single chain, there's clips for duplex chain but not single chain. I am still going to rate it as 5 star as I would never have been able to complete the job without it.
