Not much louder than my plastic ones, but they might be thicker too. Pretty good, better vibe.

For the guitar player whi has everything. These are lovely and produce slightly different sounds when plucked

Strange, I wasn't sure how i would feel about a wooden pick. The feel in the hand is high quality and the wood is dense but not thick like a bass pick. The look is lovely and being able to see the wood grain I'd very nice. The sound is odd, alot brighter and more tinny than regular picks, so if you're looking for a warm sound I wouldn't recommend. These aren't varnished or anything which I think would greatly help with the sound issue, but they're more of a decorative piece than anything.
