Moldable
Thought it to be a great idea as I hate to struggle to secure straps around my head. Now I am repairing the hair and this type of durag is for that. Its excellent however it is tricky as it is one size, as your hair grows the straps could be to tight, however Im sure with more wears it shall stretch, no worries would be great as you learn your pattern.

Once you figure out how to put it onโฆ itโs awesome!!!
January 2026 update: Iโve bought this durag three times now in totalโฆ not because theyโve worn out but because I like to have backups and keep one in my travel bag for business and one at my fiancรฉeโs house. A coupe mod thought/tips: -I wear an XL size hat and often thatโs a bit tightโฆ so Iโm shocked that anyone thinks this first is too small. If anything, Iโd be slightly less surprised if some said it was too big. Tips: -make sure you store it with the Velcro straps connected when not in use. It helps make sure the Velcro doesnโt ruin the satin like finish of the overall material. -if you want more compression, in addition to lengthening or shortening how you overlap tue Velcro straps in the front and back, you can also take a bit of the material that the straps wrap over in the front (itโll be under the straps) and tug it down a little bit so you can pull some more of the material down and then fold it over the straps for an even more snug fit. It works so well this way that I donโt wear a durag/wave cap to bed and I can have my waves set about 10-15 minutes after I brush my hair as Iโm getting ready. Original review (May 2023): My guess is that some folks are giving this wave/wolfing cap negative reviews bc they donโt know how to use it. Iโll admit Iโve owned it for a few months before I took the time to figure it out. Hereโs how I use it: The longer Velcro โwingsโ should be in back. The top of the black on black one stops the stitching on top before it comes down the front of your forehead (to avoid having that stitch line make an imprint on your skin/forehead or on the waves of really short hair). Wrap the front (shorter) Velcro wings to the back first. Then adjust the overall fit, remove any wrinkles by lightly tugging down the material here and there. Then fold up and then wrap the back Velcro โwingsโ (longer ones) in front of your forehead/scalp. Then make any minor adjustments as needed. Itโs quite stable and you can tweak the compression by overlapping the Velcro straps a little or a lot in front. I wish I had figured this out earlier bc I love it now. Iโm writing this answer bc i came here to buy another one and I noticed no one was helping folks know HOW to use the wave/wolfing cap. Any reviews based on anything but the quality of the material should be ignored imo. If the quality is an really an issue I would just stop wearing this at night and exclusively use it during tue morning/day bc it really works. Also, make sure the Velcro straps are folded up so that any exposed Velcro doesnโt scrape against the main scalp material unnecessarily. Best thing I can say is Iโm buying it again! To put in my travel bag when I travel for business bc it works better than any other DuRag Iโve ever tried.l for wolfing AND waves.

Meh
I would say that this product is just okay. There's nothing great about it and it kind of does the job that it's intended to. But there are other products that do better. The good part is that you can adjust the tightness somewhat so that you don't wake up with semi-permanent lines in your forehead or a headache that persists into the day. Other than that it may be a little too adjustable. It's hard to find the Goldilocks adjustment. If you move more than a little bit over the course of the night it will come undone. I think it's better than the do-rag where you have to tie the string but only because it's more adjustable and doesn't leave the semi-permanent marks the do-rag with the string seems to work better with different hairstyles than this one. I use mine every now and then. It's a decent enough alternative and better than nothing.

Functions Well, Questionable Quality
First of all this design of durag is the best. Follow the instructions on the back and you get good compression with no sliding around. It's comfortable to wear compared to using multiple durags to get the same effect. The one thing that needs improvement is the stitching. I have multiple colors of this and they all have loose stitching. Still, after a year and through many washes, they still all held up. Since, these leave no marks, I'm looking at buying some more. I don't mind the loose stitching, but if you wear these out and about just know they will look like they're falling apart. Not the best look for public outings.

Waaaaay too small
This is not for an adult's head. I've purchased two other brands of du-straps and they fit just fine. It simply was time to replace them. Trying to wear this thing gives you an instant headache.

Wonderful solution!
Fits my 22m baby boy perfectly. It stretches and has room to grow into. The straps are on point! Keeps his cap on well. My son is average height, average size/athletic. Seriously, skip looking for due rags with the strings.. this product surpasses all other head gear Iโve bought for him in the past. Good quality to add.

Color runs
The product is wonderful. It stretches and stays on. My problem is the color runs and has ruined 2 pillows ans2 satin pillow cases. Even after washes.
