I bought this for my daughter so she wouldn't have to prop her cell phone against a book when we have our family Zoom video chats. The stand is very well made and stable. It will hold either an Android or iPhone without any problem. It has a tilt arm which is secured by a sturdy thumb screw. The base has rubber feet so it doesn't move or slip when placed on a table. The automatic release button is a nice feature which releases the phone with just the touch of 1 button. I like the swivel feature so you can turn your phone horizontally and get a larger picture of the family when we talk with each other. This unit is priced very well compared to some of the other similar product being advertised. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

This holder is great for my Galaxy S7 with a UAG case. It still has plenty of room for larger cell phones with spring-loaded jaws that extend softly up to about 3-3/4 inches, which should be able to manage a cell phone up to about 3-1/2 inches. The instructions that come in the APPS2Car installation guide are simple but sufficient to guide one through putting the parts together properly. I put mine together without the instructions, so I can assure you that it's not that hard, anyway. The one main thing is listed in steps 1 and 2: Completely unscrew the nut on the cradle holder and put the nut over the ball joint before reconnecting it to the cradle holder. Once that nut is screwed back on, it's just a matter of securing the phone properly in the holder and manipulating the holder to get the angle needed. The main screw on the bottom of the arm, just at the top of the base, loosens to let the main arm tilt forward and backward nearly 180°, which is more than enough to tilt it where you need it. That joint has a ratchet action, so once that knob is tightened, the arm isn't going anywhere without the base going with it. Since the ball joint attached to the cradle has its own freedom of motion for several degrees in any direction, you should be able to set your phone at any angle you want. If I needed a second unit, I would gladly buy this unit again.

This just sits next to my computer at desk. The base is actually heavy for its size, which I like, because it gives it stability. I had one of these stands for a couple of years, but my partner at our SOHO desks kept borrowing it for his own use! And I liked it so much I just let him keep it and bought a second. Both still going strong. I think APPS2CAR appears to be concerned with quality. When it arrives, it even has a warranty/registration card -- not common on a lot of inexpensive accessories. Also, the squeeze and release mechanism works great, and has not broken on either. I prefer to have my phone facing me up at a 45 degree angle next to my desk, with charger cable in, then laying flat: Easier to see the screen and touch/respond. This APPS2Car Cell Phone Stand does that job perfectly. However, I would not recommend it for portable: It doesn't collapse completely and will stick out in your bag. It's clearly (as advertised) a desktop unit. I just got this device yesterday, so I haven't been able to confirm its durability through the test of time, but it it is extremely sturdy, stable, well-designed, and well-constructed. As for its versatility, I had originally wanted to get a stand that would raise up several inches from the desk, but there were too many reviews of such stands stating that they had turned out not to be very durable. This stand seems to be as versatile as one can be, in respect to tilting to various angles, while being stable and durable. I had considered the Omoton C2, but chose this one because it looked like its base might be more stable. However, the Omoton's base seems to be modeled on the desktop Mac base, which is perfectly stable, so my guess is that the Omoton is as stable as the APPS2Car, and would be an excellent alternative. The device arrives without directions, so it took me a minute to figure out to assemble and use it. It consists of two parts, the holder and the base, which are not attached on arrival. To attach the holder to the base, you first loosen the knob near the bottom of the base so that you can raise up the arm. Then you unscrew the large nut on the female joint on the back of the holder all the way. Next, you insert the male connector, which is located at the top of the base and has a ball at the end, through the large nut you have loosened, fully into the female connector on the back of the holder. Then you tighten the large nut, thereby connecting the holder to the base.. Loosening the knob near the bottom of the base will allow you to tilt the holder from front to back. On arrival, the holder's arms are so close they look like the device will hold only phones less than two inches wide, but that's because they are in the closed position. The arms pop open when you press the button at the top of the back of the holder. Then they close easily to hold the phone securely after you have seated it on the bottom support. (If the arms should become partly closed, you do not press the phone between them; instead you close the arms all the way and then pop them open again by pressing the button on the back.) The holder can be rotated 360 degrees to tilt the phone to a significant extent. The holder's bottom support has gaps through which you can charge the phone and plug in ear buds while it is mounted in the device.

I have this same item by Weathertek, and the Weathertech (sp?) one is much sturdier, thicker, and solid. This item works and was less than 1/2 the price, and it is so helpful to have. There were no instructions in the box , but thank goodness for reviews. Wasn't sure how to assemble the back part. For guests to use when they stay with us, I will definitely stick with Weathertech, but this is perfect for my use. I have a Samsung FE20+ phone with an Otterbox (thick) case on it, and it fit in the holder with no problem.

This stand is steady and strong without being heavy. Phone even locks into it to ensure it's secure - releases with the push of a button.

Ich habe mir den Smartphoneständer für das Homeoffice erworben, um mir das Telefonieren zu erleichtern. Das Produkt hat eine gute bis sehr gute Verarbeitung. Es läßt sich leicht bedienen. Es hat einen sicheren Stand. Das Smartphone kann geladen werden, wenn es im Ständer steht. Ich würde das Produkt jederzeit nochmal erwerben. Der Versand war wie immer perfekt.

Super happy with the purchase. The stand is sturdy and well made, holds the phone in place and doesn’t tip over. Phone is easily put in the holder and taken out when done.

This seems a good Mobile phone holder, I happy that it arrived before I expected, but I haven't tried it very much as it's a Christmas present, and I don't want to damage the packaging with my sausage fingers, 😁😁. Overall I'm very happy.

My phone doesn't sit in the case well and the stand is a bit too bulky and overall just doesn't feel as great as I was expecting sadly
