PetLab Co. Probiotic Chews for Dogs, 30 Soft Chews, Pork

One of my Maltipoos is always scratching at his ears, shaking his head and crying. It’s just heartbreaking; the little guy gets no peace. The drops from the vet sort-of work for about 2 days & then it starts all over again. I was looking for a longer term solution to make him more comfortable. I *really* doubted a probiotic supplement would work & I’m not crazy about the fact this has so much sugar. BUT since I feel like I have tried everything else—(wipes, cleaners, tweezers, ointments etc.) The vet has nothing more to offer—and if you look inside his ears they are as clean as a whistle (no wax, no hair, no discharge) I gave it a shot. They really help. Not *complete* relief (still a little head shaking now & then) but I haven’t used the drops since I started these & no crying. So about 90%. I’m frankly kind of amazed. So, yes, these ARE too expensive & with 2 dogs getting 1.5 tabs per day I wish they lasted longer—BUT they really do seem to work & nothing else did. So I will economize elsewhere; these are worth it. (Btw: if you have little dogs you might want to break the tabs into pieces).

I have a chihuahua, and she is very yeasty and also very itchy. I’ve used this brand In the past but haven’t in awhile. Recently she’s been super itchy and licking her paws more than normal and it wasn’t until I looked at her paw that she was licking it was so red and irritated, so I knew I had to buy this again. Within a day her paw is way less inflamed aswell as her ears because she itches there too. This truly is a must have because it has worked wonders for my dog and helping her itchiness. Recommend 100%

Both of my dogs have digestive issues. I had them on a probiotic that worked wonderfully for that. However, they both have severe allergies as well. One gets so bad that she has recurring ear infections, so I decided to try this product. I have to say that we are not quite through the first container and already the results seem to be amazing. So...what's the issue? Only thirty pills per container. $36.00 a pop. Both dogs require two pills per day. That is around $144.00 per month. I certainly don't want to take them off of this because they are doing great. Sadly, I don't know how long I can afford to give them.They are only taking one a day right now but I have no idea if that will be enough for them in the long run. I think this is a great company with a quality product. Just wish more people could afford it! Update: only gave this for about a week. Only one pill each rather than two. I am taking down to one star because my little girl not only got horrible diarrhea, both started itching like crazy. Both ok when stopped. I am now out the price of two containers that I can't use. I still think this is a reputable company and a quality product. Didn't work here...pretty expensive trial!

I have been purchasing this product for years, and my almost 13 year old cocker spaniel has minimal stomach issues, but also feed her a high protein diet. Combining the pet lab probiotic with her pup above diet has really helped and I also use the pet lab joint protection product and it is also great! She can run, jump and walk with no issues. Amazon's pricing with free ship is cheaper and faster than purchasing on the official website. Always comes securely packaged and pet lab has protective covers under each cap to keep the product fresh. I have tried other products, but petlab is very high quality and just alittle more expensive then other brands that I have found to not be as effective for my pup. Hope this helps those of you trying to find the right product for your dog.

My dogs loves the taste, he can smell it before l even give it to him as a snack. When l put it in his bowl he seeks it out. But, it did stop him from scratching. I think it was good for his stomach. But, for the price you pay to stop itching, it doesn’t work at all. Will not purchase.

My miniature Bull terrier was licking her front paws to the point that they were absolutely raw. We have tried tons of things to no avail for months. She has been taking the these chews for a week and she is already 200% better. And she more more energetic at 13 years old. THESE WORK! And she loves to take them! And it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. She will be taking them until we lose her! So nice to buy a product that WORKS!

I did have one star only because my dog had a bad reaction and I didn't think I could get a refund. I've heard great things about this probiotic that's why I wanted to try them. Sadly it wasn't a fit for my bull terrier. But I changed it to 5 stars, bc the company reached out and was actually very sweet and I felt they actually cared. We exchanged a few msgs. And I'm getting a full refund. I highly recommend to try. You never know until you do. And if it don't work out the customer service is A+ they write you on Amazon msgs so make shur you check those if you had any issues. I'm sad these didn't work out. I recieved these yesterday, I gave my dog one and she threw up 4 times and has had diarrhea since. I tried to put a return in. Because I can't give these to my dog. Amazon can't do anything. they send me to talk to pet Co. Which I get but the return policy, is unopened. But with never trying this brand before and only using the one, and now knowing I can't use them. I'm stuck with a $40 probiotic that I can't use. I guess tossing them in the trash is the only thing I can do🥴

I used this for my 5 y/o Rottweiler, 5 y/o yorkie and my 12 y/o Japanese Chin. It worked great in less than a week! I thought i would try a cheaper version and it was not at all what this product is so I am changing back to this one and never changing again! The taste, they didn't like (i just crumble it up in their food) but it works fast. Within the first couple of days, the hair loss was so much less, the shaking of their heads ended, and their itchy ears were a thing of the past! Their stomach and intestines no longer grumble, and there's no diarrhea or constipation. After I crumble it in their kibble, they eat it down with no issues. Very easy to use. They just seem happier. I can't say enough good things about this product. The only downfall is the price. It is very expensive. I use 1 jar every week or less. I wish it was a little more affordable.

I have 3 little dogs, one has stomach issues (vomits once a week - for no reason), the other two are aggressive paw lickers (drives me crazy). So I decided to try this out. This is my second container of these as the dog with the stomach issues has not had any problems since he started this product, the other 2 with the paw licking (1 has stopped all together, and the other is way, way better). As I have 3 dogs the product is pricey, so I have only been giving them a half each once a day and they are still doing so well. I am very pleased with the results. They are much happier, and so am I. Truly recommend.

We've been using this product for 7 months now for our pomchi and I've noticed her stool is firmer (after a bout of diarrhea) she shakes her head much less. (I do clean her ears) She does enjoy the treat after her dinner and the size is enough for her to have to bite in pieces. Overall, the product has shown positive effects and so have it on preorder; saves a few $ and comes precisely on time each month.

Delivered quickly. Started to give my dog one in the morning and one at dinner time. Just finished them yesterday, and frankly, I did not see any immediate change. She liked the taste of them, so right now, they are a very expensive treat. I have not given up... I ordered one more with hopes that it will start to work. So hopefully, I can change my review. Stay tuned .... UPDATE Oct. 15, 2024. A few days after my first order, a staff member from PetLabCo. contacted me through Amazon. I explained my delema, stating that my dog loved the taste, and looked forward to it every morning after her walk, and when one before her bedtime. Once the jar was finished, I really did not see any change in her overall well being. the Since she DID love the taste, I decided that I would give PetLabCo. Probiotic Chews one more chance. I have 4 chews left, and I am very very happy. Her overall mood has changed, she loves to chase sticks, her decal movements are perfect. She is sleeping well, she still tends to shake her head, but nothing like a few months ago. She did tend to lick a paw or two, but that only happens after playing outside and the grass is a bit wet. The main thing is that she is happy, loving to play outside with my son. Her appetite is great, Her overall demeanor is much better than a few months back. I WILL continue to give them to her twice daily. I love the results and my dog is happy and healthy. I am ordering one more and will once again, update on her overall feeling. Maybe in some dogs. Mine is a very plump 90 lb. Pitbull, so it may take a bit longer than 1 jar. Do your dog a favor or second chance on these, you will see a change.

Do not buy this product under any circumstances. This company is a scam. I made the mistake of purchasing the repeat probiotics, were they send you one container every month, because it was a cheaper deal.....of course. After I tried the first month with no change whatsoever in my dog's skin despite all of their videos to the contrary, I cancelled my subscription in January 2026. It even shows as cancelled when I look up the website. But they have continued sending them each month and deducting a whopping $47.32 per small container from my credit card for their useless product... every single month. They were supposed to be around $11. I would never ever have paid $47:30 for a small container. I contacted the company last month and they are pretending that they know nothing about it even though you can see on their website that I cancelled it in January and it continues to be sent to me.

I was hoping these would help with her constant itching but they don’t. She is prone to ear infections and constant scratching. Disappointed bc this product had so many fantastic reviews. I’m giving it a 3 star bc my dog seems to enjoy them but they definitely don’t work for her.
