I was excited to use these triggers for an A to E conversion with mesh drum heads (to use for practice and low volume gigs), but ended up being disappointed. The build quality and seamless integration with the drum module are excellent. What was terribly disappointing was the poor fit, which prohibited proper seating on the drum head. I purchased two RT-30H triggers, one RT-30HR trigger, and one RT-30K trigger. Despite being advertised to fit most common rims/hoops, they did not fit my hoops for the desired application; and I have standard triple flange hoops. Here's the issue: With mesh drum heads, you have to tighten the lug screws more than you would on an acoustic head to maintain sufficient tension on the head. In doing so the hoop ends up dropping into a low position. These triggers have a deep "pocket" that allows for hoops that sit well above the drum head, but they do not allow for hoops that sit shallow with respect to the drum head. Because of this, I could not get the triggers to seat correctly. I had a separate seating problem with the RT-30K, because my bass drum hoops have a subtle outward flange toward the edge of the hoop. I may still use these with my other acoustic set to add triggering layers to acoustic sound during live performances, but I originally purchased these for a full A to E conversion. I would not recommend them for that!

Indudablemente son los mejores triggers, aunque Roland los vende a precio de oro. Tengo también de otras marcas, pero al final, si quiero ahorrarme problemas termino comprando los Roland, porque son de largo los que mejor se adaptan a mi batería acústica.

Der Trigger ist easy zu installieren. Das Ansprechverhalten ist auch auf Meshheads super.

I bought these for my practice set up at home using silent stroke heads. These triggers work fine with a bit of adjustment to parameters on your trigger converter/module. I haven't used them on a regular kit out live yet but I see no reason why they won't work equally well.
