Great bit of equipment
This is a great bit of equipment, I bought the version with the pulley assist for kids and wife to help them get to a pull up. The construction is solid heavy duty steel and thick screws. When assembled there is a bit of give here and there but nothing that would cause any concerns whatsoever. Build time took 2 hours with the tools provided. All the nuts and bolts were in neat separated packaging, so nothing to loose in the build mess. The instructions were fine to follow, the only tricky bit was getting head around the pulley system but it's self explanatory once you see the bits. The features are everything you need for a body weight session, pull up, dips, leg raises and a push up bar at the bottom. Full body work out without the need for weights. Swapping the seat from assist mode to leg raises position takes about 1 min so no bother at all. Changing the level of pulley assist is a little bit fiddly but really easy. There are 4 levels of assist. The extendable pull up bar is great for adapting to allow kids to have a go. Changing the position involves unscrewing the bolts and repositioning, then rescrewing which is slightly frustrating (2-3 mins) but it's a nick pick. Overall, really happy with it and would highly recommend if you want to improve your body weight training regime to become functionally fitter rather than just muscular.

Good Quality, Great Value. Easy Assembly
Product was delivered next day. Packaging was perfect, so kudos to Amazon delivery. Packaging was well thought-out for a product of this type. Special mention has to go to the hardware (screws, nuts, handles, tools etc.) that were in a clear vacuum formed pack. No worries about missing bits from the factory. Other sellers of disassembled products should take note (I’m looking at you, IKEA…) Assembly was straightforward. Each component is easily identifiable in the instruction book. Take a moment to make sure you’ve identified the correct length of each screw before starting. Also, note especially that there is a left and a right arm support, and hand grip assemblies. Keep these straight or you may find yourself undoing a bunch of screws. They do supply hex wrenches and an open end spanner, which can assemble the whole thing. I used my own tools, which probably saved me some time. Overall excellent quality. Sturdy and stable in all intended operations. Build quality and finish looks excellent. Most screws are supplied with nylon lock nuts, which should prevent loosening over time, but I’d still recommend periodic inspection. Assembled the unit is light enough to be moved by hand. Excellent piece of kit that makes a great addition to my home fitness setup.

Solid and easy to assemble
Good solid bit of kit and easy to assemble on my own. Provides enough exercise variations to fill an hours worth of functional fitness workouts and combined with good diet, cardio, protein shakes and creatine I am definitely seeing an improvement in my physique - well defined pecs, abs, back and arms. Dropped a star because the arm rests have become mis-shaped and the hand grips a little loose after 12 months of working g out 3/4 times a week.

A Set-up Review
Looks like a good piece of kit, and assisted exercises like this are a great place to start building capability. Full list of parts for assembly was received with complimentary allen/hex wrenches and open-end wrenches to accomplish the job. Installation Video on Amazon is very helpful and follows a different sequence to the printed instructions. Printed illustrations of the more complex steps 5 & 6 could be improved with a magnified focus on the current areas of work, rather than having an illustration of the full unit. Don't be surprised if bolt/screw holes are not quite aligned and you have to man-handle components to make them connect (see photos 1 - 4). A rubber mallet might be useful and don't fully tighten the top bolts too early that connect the pulley wheel frame to the composite tubes (stainless steel looking rods). Because of the upward force of the elastic band on the pulley wheel frame, it pushes the top pulley at the back, and the bottom one at the front in towards the composite tube (see marked as 2 & 4 in photo P, right hand side of equipment). Accordingly, those are the two pulleys that primarily run on the composite tubes while the others are largely idle. That potentially means they will bear the lion share of the wear and tear. This is also shown in a video of the left hand side of the equipment, where the pulley at the top front nearest the viewer is not moving at all, while its counterpart at the back does the work. Hopefully users graduate to unassisted exercises before this becomes a problem. If it does I guess you could disassemble and switch the pulleys back to front for as long as that will last :-)

The home gym we have been waiting for !!!!
I am pleasantly surprised how good this product is, at first I was unsure but thought I would take a punt and I am glad I did. Putting it together it took me about an hour using the tools which came with the unit. The instructions are pretty straight forward but on a couple of the numbers on the manual didn’t match up, but you are provided with the right amount of nuts and bolts. The delivery was good, it arrived on time and nicely packaged, I could lift the box on my own however it’s quite heavy and and another pair of hands would have been great (getting it into the room I wanted to build it in). Using the product again I am surprised how sturdy it is, I haven’t experienced wobbly or haven’t had to use weighs to hold it down. I bought this product for the assisted dip, I have been looking for a while and glad that this product is available, the price is good for what you get, a genuine or second hand assisted dip machine costs thousands, so far this machine works as well as a gym one. I am starting the journey which will enable to me use the machine un assisted, but at the moment I am far from reaching this goal, I am using the four resistance bands and it holds my weight (90kg) and I am still able to feel the muscles pull and strengthen even with the 4 bands. The height is adjustable and this unit is more than a dip, chin and pull machine, it’s good for press ups as well as other exercises. Overall I am pleased I took a gamble and if someone is of similar thinking to me, I would say go for it.

Surprisingly good.
Pleasantly suprised. Some components were scratched upon receipt. If this was going in a garage/conservatory I would ask for replacement parts due to likelihood of rust occurring but it’s going in a spare bedroom so I’m not overly worried. It all fitted together well with instructions almost correct, few details missing that would have helped but nothing insurmountable. Quality of components is decent for the price even the nuts & bolts are acceptable. Once built the tower is certainly substantial enough for my 85kg body. The assist platform is not the smoothest but it does work. You can do assisted pull-ups, chin ups AND assisted dips though for the dips I stand on the assist platform and use bent legs to get the range of motion I want where for the pull exercised knees-on-platform may be the best option. Overall can recommend the Sportsroyal assisted power tower.

Strong and sturdy
It took me just over 2 hours and 15 mins to put this together in a confined space and not the 20 minutes they claimed 🤣! I did go slow and careful as I did not want to get anything wrong. It was fairly straightforward to a degree to build (I am in my late 50s and a female). I did have to cross check the instructions to make sure I was getting things right. I love in a bungalow and my ceiling is low and it was challenging to fit the top bars because of my low ceiling. I was very lucky that I have roof windows and was able to use the space to fit the top bars. The only other way would have been to lie the machine down on its side though I was already building in a tight space. I have tightened up all the nuts and bolts and tested out the machine. I was confused about which order the washers go in. Some pictures show different ways. I just hope mine are fine as I can't go through with undoing and redoing all the nuts and bolts. I did Google and different people say different things so hopefully it doesn't really matter. It is nice and sturdy though as someone says, if you lower the top bar due to low ceiling height, your knees bump into the lower bar which is annoying. I am only 5 foot 5 and my knees bump into the lower bar. I can't raise the top bar too high as my ceiling is low and if there ever was a time that my head reaches over the top bar, I need some space there to do so. The interchanging top bar was one of the reasons I bought this machine because of my low ceiling. One other annoying thing is, it arrived yesterday and today, the machine is £40 less than when I bought it at £179. So annoying when this happens. Win some, lose some I guess. All in all so far I am happy. I can only manage 2 seconds so far in hanging down. I will post back in weeks or months from now to share how much further I have progressed.
