Very good hover also picks up water from cisterns, heavier battery makes no difference to the performance, just makes it last longer, very easy to clean

Great vacuum

Absolutely disappointed!!! Only had since February and already stopped working! Doesn't seem to be easy to contact dewalt through here to request a repair either.

I was disappointed that the hose is only designed for the 3 vacuum attachments supplied. It has a smaller hose that is not compatible with DeWalt power tools or attachments for the industrial Vacuum that I have. Not intended to replace my industrial vacuum, but to complement it whilst doing smaller DIY style job like using dust extraction whilst using a drill for a small job like drilling a hole for the insertion of a few wall plugs. Or indeed a longer piece of DeWalt hose.... I have however made attachment alterations to make it work, but adapters etc. with the brand name "DeWalt" are ridiculously expensive for what essentially are bits of plastic / nylon etc.

I bought this to attach to my small bench sander and small bench bandsaw. With a lot of faffing about and more purchases I managed to get the correct adapter for each machine/vacuum hose connector. Normally DeWalt products aren't too bad but this is very disappointing. The suction will never suck a golf ball through a hose pipe but I would expect it to suck up the sawdust "thrown" at it through the vacuum hose but no, it doesn't. I'm still getting covered in sawdust and out of pocket for buying this. It maybe okay for sucking up ash from an ashtray in the car or crumbs from the bottom of a toaster and then halfway through change batteries but it definitely is nowhere near a site tool. I cannot recommend this at all.

A Quick Tip for Others: If you’re doing heavy-duty car detailing, the HEPA filter does a great job of keeping the dust out of the air, but make sure to tap it out after a big job to keep the suction at 100%. Final Verdict: For $80, this is an incredible value for anyone already on the 20V platform. It’s powerful, portable, and makes car maintenance significantly less of a chore.
