I really like Hornady Dies but gave it 4 stars because Hornady does not include a shell holder. The shell holder must be purchased separately and sometimes they are out of stock everywhere.

If you want dies and don’t have specific dies from a specific brand for a specific set of reasons, you want Hornady dies. They make a great dues. First, they make the best lock rings. They are split nut type. They are grabbing the threads concentrically. Literally, I buy these for my custom dies too! The FL dies are short enough to bump the shoulder well. They are smooth. The threaded collet can be locked read center. The expander doesn’t pull necks. I do wish they offered some minus expanders, but almost nobody does. The seaters are really concentric and easy to adjust. I actually prefer the Hornady adjustment to a micrometer. It would be nice if they had a longer sliding sleeve. The only thing better are Hornady bushing dies. That said, you really don’t need those most of the time.

Works well! Checkout out the HORNADY you tube videos on setting up sizing/depriming die and the other on adjusting the seating die. Don’t forget you will need a shell holder if you don’t have one already.

I usually go with RCBS but since I was going with the 6.5 creadmore I figured why not go with the source. I very much like the bullet seating follower feature. Good fit and finish.

Works perfect. I'm amazed with how good the quality is. But make sure u clean it before use.

Great quality. Finish on the inside of the sizing die is like a mirror so cases slide in and out real nice. Comes with extra decapping pins and the expander is a really nice design. The seating die is just as well made. It aligns the bullets for you and comes with 2 seating stems for different bullet types. Before I was using the Lyman set that cost the same money and wasn’t half as good.

Hornady has the reloareder in mind. The die set can with new parts that can wear out. Nice set works well.
