is it normal for the Ghd high rise brush to have smoking steam every time I use it?

Thank you for reaching out to us at ghd to ask this question about our ghd Rise today. To ensure you are using properly to avoid steam make sure your hair is 100% dry and you are using a heat protectant. If you are doing this you will see steam from the product heating up and protecting the hair with any heat element you use on your hair. This is the only reason it should steam when you use it. Pro Tip: Always follow manufacture instructions and use heat protectant when using any heated tools for your hair. Have a Good Hair Day!

When air dried my hair is curly- do I need to blow dry it first?

Thank you for reaching out to us at ghd with this product question today. Before using our ghd Glide or Rise Hot Brushes you would want to have your hair dry either by blow drying or air drying. Do not use our ghd Hot brushes on wet or damp hair. Have a Good Hair Day!

Is it dual voltage? 110-220

Thank you for reaching out to ghd and asking this product question. Our ghd Glide Hot Brushes range from 110-240 Volts and are Universal Voltage to be used in any country with the adaptor necessary in that country. I hope this answers your question. Have a Good Hair Day

Can this be used to dry on wet hair ?

Thank you for contacting us at ghd and inquiring about our Glide & Rise Hot Brush. You would only want to use our ghd Glide & Rise on completely dry hair after applying a heat protectant. I hope this answered your question today. Have a GOOD Hair Day!
