My wife and I love this range hood. We gave it a 5 star rating. The fan is great and has no problem removing smoke, smells and steam. We normally use the lowest 2 settings which are very quiet and still move a lot of air. Occasionally if we are really cooking on multiple burners we go to the higher speeds. we think that the 2 under hood lights do a good job, despite my initial worry that there would be too small. The hood cleans up easily and we put the 3 filters in the dishwasher about once a month. When we started we had issues with the hand gestures but like anything else when it took the time to figure it out it works great. I absolutely would buy again.

This range hood works really well, the suction power is strong, and it looks sleek and high-end once installed. I built a custom wood box around it, and it turned out great. I was missing the oil drip cup initially, but customer service (thank you, Emma!) responded quickly and sent a replacement right away. Very happy with this purchase and the support behind it. Definitely recommend.

This range hood was easy to install inside my new over-stove hood cabinet, but you’ll need to cut out the proper opening first—so double-check the dimensions and make sure your cabinet and hood setup can accommodate it. Once the cutout was done, the fit was perfect and the rest of the install went smoothly. The stainless steel looks sharp, the build quality feels solid, and the 900 CFM suction really moves air. Smoke, steam, and cooking odors clear out quickly, even during high-heat cooking. The LED lights are bright and even, and the baffle filters slide out easily for cleaning. Noise is low on the first two settings and totally reasonable on high given the power. It’s also an Amazon’s Choice product, and it makes sense—most buyers keep it rather than return it, and after installing and using it myself, I can see why. Overall, it’s a strong, reliable insert that performs exactly as advertised. Highly recommended.

I rarely ever write reviews for anything cause i just don't have the time, but iKTCH's product support has impressed me so much that I've got to add my two cents here. I bought this range hood a little over 2 years ago and installed it myself above a new 36" 5-burner gas range while remodeling my kitchen. The kitchen originally had a down-draft vent that didn't work well so I custom built the walnut hood cover to fit this new range vent. Since I didn't have an existing hood, I can't say how easily this unit would fit/swap if you do have an existing hood, but it was easy enough to install as new. We cook on the gas range almost every day and it never has a problem quickly venting even the strongest cooking odors like frying fish or searing steak. Its easy to clean, powerful, adjustable, and the remote and motion controls work great. It has worked great for the last 2 years! Until last weekend....when it wouldn't turn on, and this is the most important part of my review. Any company can build a product that works great, but how a company supports their product when you have an issue is what builds their reputation and earns my repeat business. I immediately emailed the seller via the link in my Amazon order history and described the problem. Because they're based in China, the email I sent to iKTCH support was received at 3am Chinese time. Not even (7) hours later, I received a response asking a question about the symptoms and offering to ship me a replacement part at no cost. I replied and provided my address, they shipped the part, and since they keep stock at an Amazon warehouse close to me, I received it the next day. I installed the part the next day, which took a screw driver and about 15 minutes, but unfortunately it didn't fix the issue. I replied and let them know, and they immediately shipped another part for free that I received the next day. Now everything is working great again! Through the whole process, I was corresponding on one email thread with the same person, Mary, who was very courteous and responsive. If you've ever had to deal with another company that requires you to call in, sit on hold, "create a service ticket", and do that all over again with a new person to explain everything to them over and over, it really makes you appreciate how fast and easy it is to correspond with iKTCH support. Let alone the fact that despite being out of the stated warranty period, they quickly sent me parts at no cost. I've spent more money on on products from well-known brands and have not nearly received this level of commitment from them to support their products. Simply because they stand behind their products when an issue arises, I would highly recommend iKTCH to anyone.

My wife and I love this exhaust fan. I would have given it a 5 star rating if the hands free feature worked as outlined and consistently. From the images you can see we applied this to an island gas cook-top so we covered it with wood planking to match the ceiling and cabinets. The fan on the IKB02-36 inch model is very powerful and quiet compared to our older in-counter exhaust fan. The 2 lights are bright and easy to turn on/off. The unit comes with a small remote that works well. The material is high quality stainless and the filters are easy to remove for cleaning. Pros - Strong fan with 4 speed settings, the higher the suction the louder it gets of course, keeps smoke, smells, steam to a minimum. - Bright lights (2) make cooking easier under the hood, I was worried with just 2 lights but they are great. - Very quiet on the lowest 2 settings and our contractor measured the distance from countertop to hood to ensure optimal exhaust and these are great for simmering and stewing, open frying will need the louder settings. - 36" model has 3 filters that can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher! - Has timer so you can set it up to turn off shortly after to get rid of any smells/steam while eating. - Comes with a remote that works well but isn't always useful when cooking. - Great price compared to other options from big-box stores and specialty stores (Amazon let us delivery directly to our contractor. Cons - Hand gestures works from time to time but isn't consistent and becomes too frustrating to use. We tried waving slow, fast, at stove-top level at hood level, sometimes it turns on when cleaning but seldom when cooking. - Comes with just basic items needed for installation, we needed ducting, elbows (don't get 90 degree elbows), vent cover for home exterior, etc. As we included this with home remodel work the contractor took care of it all. Conclusions - I would buy this again if needed and would highly suggest to family/friends over some bigger brand name options. - Impressed with power and features and despite the hands free being disappointing in practice the overall installation and functions are very well. - Quiet at lower speeds and with a timer it makes cooking in an open concept home much more pleasing as it keeps smells and steam to a manageable level.

This Range hood has excellent lighting and sufficient CFM power to clear out any ethnic cooking that I do—and the Customer Service is the best!.

Edit: customer service gets it to a 5 star. Otherwise 4 star. At first it was noisy, they helped me troubleshoot my contractor did a poor installation and had a gasket but rubbing the fan. Then the touch less function didn’t work and they helped guide me and eventually replaced at no cost the controller for the fan and lights. Looks sleek and has a simple construction that is easy to use and install (despite my contractors inability to do it right) Noise level is still a tiny bit high so naturally 4.5 stars but the highest level of customer service pushes it to 5

I am writing to express my significant disappointment with this range hood fan. The product description clearly states a 900 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) rating, which was a key factor in my purchase decision. However, after installation and practical use, the fan's performance falls far short of this claim. Even when set to its highest speed (Level 4), the fan struggles to effectively vent cooking odors and smoke. A recent experience cooking sautéed vegetables left the entire house permeated with the smell, something I've never encountered with other 900 CFM fans from different brands. This stark contrast in performance leads me to believe that the fan's actual airflow capacity is considerably lower than advertised. I feel the web description is misleading, and I am highly dissatisfied with this product.
