Wooster Brush RR028 Jumbo-Koter Shergrip Roller

Used this with the Wooster roller brush to apply pond shield to my stock tank. Nothing slipped so made applying the product hassle-free. (Some handles/roller brushes tend to slide around and don't stay on, however had no issues with this one.) To remove the roller brush from the roller, I place the 'U' part of the handle over a bucket and gave it a good whack and the used roller brush came right off. Very good product!

THE RED MINI-ROLLER HANDLES: These… the RED Handles, are by far - THE VERY BEST. Since I've been a painting contractor for 40+ years, I know a thing or two about Roller Handles & their “longevity”. That’s why I’m sharing my opinion re: these with you. A while back, and still recovering from the Green Mini Handle frustration (it’s a real thing – look it up) felt by the use and shortcomings the “Green Handles - performance flaws” I came to the realization that the "RED Mini-Roller-Handles" are truly the best… because: 1) they take both the Wooster threaded and non-threaded (Snap Lock) roller poles. 2) Snap-Lock - they easily lock in place with their lock-in-place locater pin & hole. 3) TRULY the VERY BEST FEATURE of all is the "EXACTLY like the 9" Roller Handles, they have a "MINI-CAGE" that hold the Roller Sleeve firmly in place. 4) EVEN BETTER THAN #3 - The Mini-Cage allows for easy one handed Roller Sleeve removal, unlike their Green "Same Brand" counter-part. The Green ones have no Mini-Cage, using only "friction" to hold the sleeve in place. The "Green Mini-Handle": uses only "Friction to hold the roller sleeve in place, which "might" work great once? After that you're on your own, knowing it's going to be a battle "IF" you're able to remove the Mini-Roller-Sleeve at all? Well, at least without permanently damaging the Green Handle? Let's just say I've tried everything and found the RED MINI-HANDLES to be vastly superior - and they cost less - go figure. Wishing you allthe best of luck, from another Happy Prime Customer

This is a very good roller. The roller pad stays on with a tight grip and won't come while painting as many will. I recommend it for many type paint jobs. Good product, fast delivery.

Pros: rolls smoothly, paint doesn't get in the inner part of the roller when used with certain sealed naps, comfortable handle, works with both 4" and 6" wooster naps, made in USA. Cons: I see no difference between this wooster jumbo-koter shergrip roller and the wooster pro mini roller which sells cheaper at local hardware stores. It could be one of those exclusive re-brand things retailers sometimes request manufacturers to do. The wooster website is confusing. As a result of this, I now have two of these rollers. One purchased from a local retailer and one from amazon. They look exactly the same but have different labels. In use, I would rate this five stars. I take one star out for the confusing product line. As far as purchasing it from this site, I would take another star out since it's more than twice the cost of the locally acquired twin. I purchased this one in order to use it with the green wooster roller (which was not available locally). Had I known the two rollers were the same, I would have not purchased another one.
